The Arrangement

Lili
I went to the kitchen and got an Apple. I ignored Cole every time we were in the same room. There was a knock on the door and I opened it to the girl from the other night. "Can I help you?" I sigh. "What's your problem?" she asks. "This is my House. Go away." I glare at her. "I need to talk to Cole." she says. "I don't care." I slam the door in her face. Dakota trotted over to me. I kneel and he licks my face.

There was a knock on my door, but I ignored it. "Lili." he sighs, "Please. Open the door." "Why should I?" I ask. "You haven't eaten all day." he says. "And that matters to you why?" I scoff. "You are pregnant Lili. Come eat." he says. "I'm not hungry." I says.

Cole
There was a knock on the door and I open it to a girl. "Can I help you?" I sigh. "I'm the girl from the other night." she says quietly. "What are you talking about?" I pinch the bridge of my nose. "My friend roofied you, And forced me to sleep with you." she says. "Ok." I say. "You're not mad?" she asks surprised. "No." I say. She leaves and I close the door. I turn to see Lili staring at me. She turns and goes to the kitchen.

"Lili?" I say softly. "What?" she asks. "Will you please look at me?" I say. "Why were you even out in the first place?" she crosses her arms. "I went to the store." I say. "Why didn't you just say that in the note you left. You wrote it like you were going to a bar." she says. "I'm sorry." I say quietly. She nods and goes to the living room.

"You need to eat." I say, following after her. "I'm not hungry." she mumbles. "You still need to eat." I say. She sits on the couch and closes her eyes. I kneel in front of her. "You ok?" I ask. "Yea. It's just hot." she says. I feel her forehead. "You're burning up." I say. "I'm fine." she mumbles, laying down. "You are getting sick." I say. I get some medicine and take it to her. "Here. Take this." I say, handing it to her. She takes the medicine, and I sit down, her head on my lap.

I feel her forehead and stroke her hair. There was a knock on the door and she groaned. "Let me up." I say softly. She sits up some and lays back when I stand. I open the door to Tess, Chloe, and Amy. "Hey Cole. Where's Lili?" Amy says. "She's in the couch but she doesn't feel good." I reply. I let them in and put Dakota up.

Lili
I heard movement in the living room and I turned away from it. "Lili?" I hear. "Go away." I mumble. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look to see mom. "Mom?" I say. "How are you feeling?" she asks. I groan and turn away. "You need to eat." she says softly and I close my eyes. "Lili. I know you can hear me. You are pregnant. You have to eat." she says sternly, but I ignore her. I turn to face her and slowly sit up. I try to stand, but she pushes me back to the couch.

I laid back down with my head on someone's lap. Mom came back with a bowl. She set it on the coffee table and I stare at it. "At least eat some of it." she says and I scrunch my nose. I feel a hand on my arm, and then the help me into a sitting position. They hand me the bowl of soup and I eat slowly.

I set the bowl back on the table. "You barely touched it." she says. "I'm not hungry." I say, leaning back against the couch. Cole wrapped his arm around my shoulders, and I tuck myself into his side. I close my eyes and someone feels my head. "She still has a fever." I hear. "I gave her some medicine before you guys got here." Cole says. I move slightly and sit up some. "You ok?" I hear. I move into a laying position and rest my head on Cole's lap.

I sat up and felt like my entire body was on fire. I slowly got up and went to the bathroom. I turn the water on and undress. I stand under the water trying to cool down. There was a knock on the door, but I didn't say anything. "Lili? You ok?" I hear. The door opens, and I didn't move.  The curtain moves to reveal Cole. "Lils." he says softly. I look over at him and he touches my face. "It's hot." I mumble. "I know. The water isn't helping." he replies. He turns the water off and wraps a towel around me.

Cole
I help Lili to her room and change her into some pajamas. I lay her on the bed and she curls up. I get her some medicine from the kitchen. "Where did she go?" Amy asks. "She was in the shower, but it didn't help. She is burning up." I sigh. "It'll get better. She gets like this everyone once in a while." she replies and I nod. I take her the meds and she takes them. I set the water on the nightstand, and stand to leave. She grabs my arms before I got to far. "Will you stay?" she mumbles. I get in next to her and she wraps her arms around my torso and her head on my chest. I stroke her hair and she falls asleep.

Tess came in quietly and set some soup on her nightstand. "Thanks." I say quietly. She nods and leaves the room. "Lils." I say softly, shaking her slightly. "Hmmm." She murmurs. "You need to eat something." I reply. She looks up at me confused. "Tess brought you some soup. It's on your nightstand." I say. She turns and gets the soup. I turn the tv on and she eats the soup slowly.

Lili
I woke up the next morning with Cole's arm around me. I carefully get up and go to the kitchen. I see mom cooking. "Did you spend the night?" I ask. "Yea. Your sisters are in other rooms." she replies and I sit at the island. I rest my head on the counter with a groan. "How are you feeling?" she asks. "Terrible." I mumble. "Why did you get up?" she chuckles. "Because I feel better than yesterday." I reply.

She sets a plate in front of me. "Thanks." I say. I feel a hand on my back and turn slightly to see Cole. "Hey." he smiles at me. "Hi." I yawn. Tess came in and sat next to me. Cole sat on the other side of me and mom set plates in front of both of them. Chloe came in sneezing. "Where did you stay last night?" I ask. "Next to the room you were in." She sneezes. "The dog was in my room." I giggle and she glares at me. "It's not funny." she says. "I know but today it is." I laugh.
