Grayson's POV

This is all i want.

To wake up in the morning next to the girl i love, knowing i have a beautiful daughter i can bring home soon.

The situation still seems weird to me.

Y/n is going to have to be a mom, basically. Of course, i'd never make her be Bailey's mom, because she has a choice. But i do hope she wants to be in her life.

I turn my head to the left and watch her chest rise and fall and she takes breaths in her slumber.

God, she's beautiful. I don't deserve this. I don't deserve to be this happy right now. I've never done anything good enough to deserve this.

"So beautiful" i whisper, loving the sight the more i stare.

As she slept, i slipped out of bed and headed to the kitchen so i could make her and I breakfast. And Ethan, too i guess.

The cold tiles under my feet made my body scream for me to return under the covers in my bed where it was warm, but i had already put thought into this. I should do this.

It took a few minutes to get everything situated before i could even cook, delaying my reunion with my beautiful girlfriend. It felt so weird to say that. Girlfriend.

It's been a little since I've been able to say that. I mean, i guess i could've called Katrina my girlfriend at the time, but it never really crossed my mind. That, nor the fact that what we were doing could be categorized by the word 'relationship'.

It's been a minute since i've made my own food. It was always prepared for, and delivered to, me.

Sure, the institution wasn't a five-star hotel, but compared to what it could've been... i'd prefer it.

"Pancakes... no, eggs..." i think about it for a moment, scrambling to remind myself of any conversation her and i had about her favorite food.

To no avail.

"Fuck it" i grumble, grabbing the pancake mix from the cabinet, along with eggs and bacon. What's it gonna hurt if i make it all? A nice selection for my gorgeous queen.

She deserves it.

After all she's been through, after all i've put her through. She deserves everything under the sun.

Your POV

The smell of food made your eyes open. It was normal for the human senses to raise question and make someone wake up.

And as your stomach gurgles in hunger, you could see why.

You sit up and admire the clean space around you. Grayson's room, minus the hole in the wall, was very put together. Clean.

Granted, he was absent from it for about two whole years. But who's to say he didn't wreck it last night in his rage? The only thing that was a mess was the floor underneath the gaping hole in the wall. Which, Grayson had said he'd clean up in the morning when he was more aware and calmed.

"Good morning, beautiful" Grayson smiles in the doorway.

You hadn't even seen, nor heard, him come up. "Don't worry about that," he says eyeing the wall where you had focused your early-morning attention, "i'll fix it today. I've got some stuff in the garage for that."

You smile at him, loving the fact that he could get things done with ease. However; the fact that he had things on-hand to fix broken walls made you wonder how often it actually happened.

"Want some breakfast?"

His words were like the most beautiful sound you've ever heard. "Hell yes" you half-groan, getting out of bed to greet your lover at the door.

"What did you make?" You ask, smelling a mixture of things that you couldn't quite pick out.

He says nothing, just quirks his eyebrow up and steps aside, allowing you to leave the bedroom. "Go see for yourself" he laughs gently.

You roll your eyes and laugh back, "don't mind if i do, Dolan."

And as you walk ahead, a small tap of his hand makes contact with your bum, making you let out a noise of surprise. "Hey" you scold with a smile.

"Couldn't help it..." he trails, walking to you with a slow stride, "it was calling to me."

As corny as it was, you couldn't help but laugh at his cute attempt at being hot. Sure, it worked... but that's not important.

Grayson walked you to the kitchen, hand around your waist, the happiest you'd ever seen him.

Once the open kitchen came into sight, you noticed Ethan sitting at the table, scarfing down a few pancakes and bacon. "Hey" he says, his mouth full of food.

"Hey..." Grayson greets, noticing the large pile of food Ethan has been eating. "Wanna save some of that for the lady here?"

You watch the two brothers give eachother looks while you grabbed a plate.

"There's still a lot left, dude. You made enough to feed like eight people." Ethan jokes, making you laugh a little.

"Nope" Grayson retorts, "just one Ethan."

Ethan laughs sarcastically, one loud 'ha' before rolling his eyes and looking away.

The brotherly banter was amusing for you to say the least. Ethan was always playfully rude to his brother. You could tell. Grayson, the same, however... less.

He had a softer side to him than his brother. A side you loved. A side you couldn't help but fall deeper for each second he shows it.

"Sorry about him" Grayson lightly smiles at you, grabbing a fork, picking up some bacon for your plate.

"It's fine. I think i'm used to the two of you."

"Oh, great" Grayson laughs, "no more mystery, this is what you get, babe."

Your eyes fixate on Grayson's, "i'm fine with that."

Grayson's POV

Sitting across from her, silently watching her eat. It made me think more on the thought of having a family. With her.

Waking up every morning, next to her.

Letting our- my daughter come home from school to us.

Whether Y/n wants it or not, it's her choice. To be apart of my life, and Bailey's.

It would mean the whole world to me.

I'm just not sure when the right time to ask would be...

I have slacked 100% and i am sorry. I've been so busy and it is hard for me to even think about writing. Also, not very into the twins as much as i used to be. It was a phase.

I just hope.i can finish this before i'm completely done 😂
