" can't you get there any faster?" I asked trying to control my breathing as Ashley drove to the hospital " baby if I could get there faster don't you think I'll be there already " he said calmly holding my hand while driving as I felt another contraction as I squeezed Ashleys hand till we pulled up out side of the hospital as he parked the car helping me get out taking me in side " hey my wife is in labour " Ashley said as the nurse nodded as they took me into the room laying me on the bed Ashley never left my side unless I wanted water as the doctor came into the room "hello Mrs Purdy I'm your doctor for today shall we see how far we have till baby is here " she said as I nodded as she lifted my grown " your ready to push " she said in surprise as she got ready and some other nurses came into the room as Ash stayed by my side "right , push" the doctor said as I pushed squeezing Ashleys hand as he kissed the top of my head " right lucie and again 3.2.1 push " the doctor said as I did " I can see the head one more sweety " the doctor said as I pushed squeezing Ashleys hand till I heard little crying as I looked at him and he looked at me " congratulations it's a boy " the nurse said cutting the cord and handing him to me as I held him close as Ashley kissed the top of my head smileing wide as I looked at him and kissed him as he smiled against the kiss " I love you Mr Purdy " I said as he smiled wide " I love you more Mrs Purdy " he said kissing me again as I smiled wide at him and then our new born son .
