The Forest

Chapter 1: Where Am I?

"Where to go?" -I asked myself.
Mountains are not the option.
Neither are the forests.
"Should I go forward?"
"Yes." -I thought.
So I kept walking. Into the endless field, Into the sunset. It was getting darker and darker and grass was getting taller and taller. I was tired and hungry... soon it was too dark.
I decided to lay down and try to rest. I was finally out of that damn forest, it was progress. I looked on the ground for bugs, I was starving.
Got couple of bugs, couldn't see what kind of bugs, it was too dark. I just ate them. It didn't matter if they were poisonous, I was hungry.
It was a dinner.
I woke up in middle of the night, got a horrible headache, I was thristy... I had to move, otherwise I will die here...

Even though I was naked it was pretty warm that night, as I kept walking I looked up to the sky.
Sky was looking... different... formation of the stars were like something I've never seen before.
...Moon? Where is the moon?
Doesn't matter where the moon is... question is... Where am I?
After hours of walking, dawn was breaking and sunlight came upon the field.
I looked around... at this point it was field all around me. Except those distant gray mountains that looked like a sharp waves.
"Strange" -I thought.

Few hours later I got lucky. Clouds filled the sky and rain started.
I was so happy that I laid down and kept my tounge out for as long as rain lasted, trying to keep my mouth full of water. I'm not sure how long it lasted, an hour or two, maybe three...
I was just so happy and so thankful for that rain.

After few more hours of walk I found myself in a endless fields... mountains were not there anymore, it was just fields now.
I started laughing... louder and louder.
Am I losing my mind? Maybe. After waking up in middle of forest and getting lost in middle of nowhere, yeah... I am losing my mind.
I ate bugs so I wouldn't starve...
I sat down to think, get my mind straight.
Only thing I was thinking about was...
"Where am I? How did I get here? How do I get back? Why is this happening to me?"
I didn't know the answers. So I desperately started crying and screaming. I was rolling helplessly on the ground in agony.
I need help.

Another night, another bug dinner, another headache in middle of the night.
I kept walking and walking in these endless fields and then grass started getting taller and taller with every step. Not long after, grass was over my head and I couldn't see anything anymore, except the sky above.

Another rain, and tongue out for hours again.
Another night, another bug dinner, another horrible headache in middle of the night, I started throwing up all those bugs I ate. I was desparate...
So I stood up, looked up to the sky and whsipered...
"Where am I?"
I was lost, scared and alone...
"Why?!" -I started shouting.
"Why is this happening to me?! Why?!"
"Please stop... please end this..." -desperately shouted Mason through his crying voice.

In the morning I kept walking, I walked for hours. And then I noticed, grass was getting smaller.
I asked myself... "Am I getting somewhere?"
Grass started changing color... from green to yellow....
"Is this the bugs?" -I asked myself.
No, it wasn't because of the bugs. It looked like wheat to me, If it is wheat It's the tallest wheat I've ever seen. It was getting smaller but still to high to see anything up ahead.

So I kept walking, hoping for something... anything to happen... I was on the edge of total mental breakdown.
All of the sudden, I heard feet shuffling in the grass. I kept running towards the shuffling, thinking... "I'm saved!"
I started joyfully shouting "Hey! Over here!"
Running naked in the field. I felt like I was already saved.
Then shuffling became louder and I saw wheat ahead of me moving and someone was coming.
And then I stumbled upon him. I was... I couldn't believe it.
There was a skinny and naked man in front of me, staring at me... horrified and lost as much as me.
