As the mysterious boy laid me down near the fire, I had a thought.

I know, I know, a round of applause for me please. Anyways, continueing on, I did not know the strangers name, but he did not know mine either. I think.

I swallowed, choking back a whimper of pain as my body siezed up on me, leaving my suscles tense and unable to obey my commands to move. I swear the boy looked down at me with pity or, a darker emotion. One that laughed at suffering. And I realized that this boy, while looking only a few years older than me, was capable of giving out unsaid amounts of torture and would still laugh at the victim. He was not doing this out of the kindness of his heart, oh no, he was doing it, because he thaught that he would gain something.

Today was really, really not my day apparently. Is it still the same day as today started out as? Or is it already tomorrow? The poison was making it's way through my veins swifter and swifter, as my thoughts were becoming messed up and strange, and the darkness that was already in my vision, taking up more than a half. I stared up at the sky, as much as possible with the physco vampire boy leaning over me and "fixing" me up. I wondered if I would live to see the next sunrise, and if tonight, was my last time looking at the stars. I hoped not with all my heart.

I will continue to live, and I will continue to lead this kingdom as my family has done for generations. I will live.

And then I lost all thought as I fell backwards into complete darkness, finally relaxing since this nightmare of a day started.

The first thing I become aware of, of course it needs to be this, is laughter, loud and mean, the sound of an unstable mind coming undone, falling off the cliff of sanity that they were clinging to. I was in danger, and only from instincts I avoided the blow that was coming down towards my skull. I rolled to my left, glad that I could move now, and was no longer stuck in one position, unfortunatly, I rolled right into the remains of last nights fire, burning my right arm and part of my stomach before I managed to lift myself off the fire with my hand, burning that also.

I almost screamed, but my breath that was going to be used for that was kicked out of me when a foot collided with my burned stomach, kicking me across what I assumed to be a small clearing that they where camping in, and into a tree, bending my back into an uncomfortable way, cracking my spine. Also pushing my breath out of me, leaving my lungs empty, and me gasping for air like a fish out of water.

And of course, as I looked across the clearing where the fighting was taking place, the one that had kicked me was the mysterious boy, the one with the insane look in his eyes, the one I had let treat me before I had fallen unconsious. I felt my blood freeze as I realized that since he was trying to kill me, he might have treated me for the moment, but then gave me something that would kill me or paralize me. I was so screwed.

And then I realized that the people who where with him when I arrived and got treated were the ones he was fighting against. What was going on? I swallowed and tried to unsteadaly get to my feet, I accomplished it the first time, but not without my back, arm, side, and hand hurting me, and making me slow down and try to actually breath. I looked back at the fight and I saw that the pack had managed to calm down the vampire boy and now had him pinned to the ground. I slowly made my way over to thm to find out what happened.

When I arrived, looking down at the vampire as he continued to struggle, I gasped. His eyes, once the colour red that all vampires had, were now a shade of black so deep, they were literally pits of nothingness. His heart had been taken over by somebody, or something, trying to kill me.

I realized that I should move on immediatly, for whatever had taken over his body, was for sure after me. I looked at the group who where staring at me, and a werewolf stepped forward and nodded.

"We will take care of this. Run." His deep voice rang out, and I nodded turning slowly before looking back once more, and nodded my thanks. Then, I ran.
