The One

Chapter 02 - Despair

"A few years have past after I have changed,  All my surrounding have started to brighten up but why do I feel like something is missing? Something important that i shouldn't have forgotten? That can't be possible. I already have got every single thing I ever want and I have never failed to get things done in my way? Still why do i feel empty?"

Liz, now was in middle school was a top student with excellent grades. Acing through both her academic and extra curricular activities she now once again finally won the attention not only of both the teachers' and her fellow friends', but also finally her parents finally once again have opened to her. Even though that Liz finally had made some decent 'friends' and though that her parents were always there for her, she kept on feeling that something important was missing...........

"Liz! Liz!", Liz heard Tiana calling her. "Seems like she got into trouble again", sighed Liz. Rushing to class where Tiana was and, for her surprise to see the horrifying scenery in disbelief which was right in front of her eyes. The entire classroom was a big mess as if a tornado had stroked, and Tiana who was sitting on the canter of the floor totally frightened up by a pack of bullies. Whispers echoed from all the other students who were at the corner of the room. "Tiana!", cried Lizana. "leave her alone!", she shot back at the bullies. "Do I have to repeat my sentence again? I said leave her alone!", she said glaring at them. Glaring back at her " you wanna pick a fight?", asked Katheryn the leader of them. Lizana felt a cold chill running down her spine but she kept calm as she knew that she was the only one who could help Tiana who only had her as a friend. before Liz replied, " guys get her!", orderedKatheryn.

Three boys and four girls completely surrounded Liz who tried to catch hold of her but Liz resistingly held on for a while, but her energy didn't last long. There were too many for her to handle and more kept on joining. Completely helplessly, Liz eventually gave up and was pushed on to the floor. Some kept on beating her up while some threw stuff at her in which she almost got hit by a thrown chair. Unable to withstand the pain anymore now she was lying on the floor half unconscious, her vision gradually blurring out. With no mercy Katheryn kept on ordering them around.

" 'Liz!', I heard Tiana crying out, though my vision was no more. The whole world had turned black and the pain was no more though they kept on beating me up. 'Seems like you failed again............. now Tiana would just end up leaving you just as how others did', a voice within from me spoke out. 'I'm gonna start again from the beginning', I answered it. Completely broken, the sounds around me started to fade away".
