The One

Chapter 08 - Melody

"The rest of the week didn't actually get any better though, I didn't even have time get some proper sleep nor some fresh air as I was all busy as hell.......... but actually there really is something about this melody which is now stuck in my mind........ soon after I had heard it, the calmness of the melody had already wrapped around my racing heart.............. as I questioned myself........."

Liz, now feeling a lot better from yesterday but still feeling stressed out, was strolling around the school with rest of the girls who finally got some time to get together again and to relax their heads as they passed through a certain room,......supposingly it happened to be the old music room which wasn't in use anymore.

"This........? Haven't I had heard it before? but what?, i asked myself as I dashed towards the source of the melody............ oh? I should I have known!; the old music room.....but does anyone even go there?..........", I asked myself.

As she snuck her head across the door she caught the image of four boys....... two seemed to be busy studying while the other two was at the piano. One playing and the other instructing, sitting next to him.......immersed in this mysterious melody Lizana now had lost track of time and her surroundings as she felt a tap on the shoulder. "hey! why did you run off suddenly! gosh that took me ages to find you...", Mia whispered as Liz leaned behind. "listen".....she answered in a soft tone as Mia too got attracted to the melody not too long after. 

After a while both of them suddenly got cut off from the melody as Sapphire and Zaiina barged in followed by Jenny. "hey!! Why did you too leave u-.....?!", both of them yelled and we pulled them back and stopped them from making more noise as the melody now had paused. "dang it!", both Mia and Liz hissed as they started taking off with speed dragging the other two along with them before getting caught.

"I was finally out of breadth as we stopped. Both Sapphire and Jenny were literally on the floor while Mia and Zaiina had already settled. We were already late for class and we knew that our teachers weren't going to be happy about it. Without further delay each of us went to our relevant classes. Though I managed to excuse myself into class without getting my teacher all worked up, she kept on glaring at me few times during the lesson. Though in a matter of few minutes, my mind started drifting away from the lesson as that melody from before managed to get back in my head, again and I started to hum it out. As my humming had now barely got audible for a few people around me to hear, Saph must have noticed and nudged me a bit so as I finally came back to senses............ 

                                                                       'When will get to hear it again, The melody which made my day brighten up?', I questioned my self as I got the answer to my question right again on the next day after............
