Chapter 14 - Punishment

"Before I knew it my fingertips were running across the keys of the piano, I never thought that I would get my chance to learn this wonderful instrument but now I finally got my chance and I won't let it fly off just like that"

"woooow! Liz! I am seriously impressed......you are already literally playing all the majors.......it took me weeks to learn the first 3 scales! Are you playing another instrument as well?", Jeoen asked amazed at how fast Lizana picked up the scales. "oh yes........I'm actually a harpist......", replied Liz. "oh really?! wohhh you really are getting more and more awesome by the minute and yeah that kinda explains why you have that musical touch as Mian", Jeoen praised. "Oh am I that good? em.........thanks...", Liz was seconds away from getting red again when..........................

................"Miss Lizana Scarlet! So this was what you were up to! You are really paying for this young lady!"................................

A cold chill ran over Liz as she turned her head around towards the door. There.....she saw the figure of the owner of this familiar voice..... "Zaiina.......?"............

"Yes it's me! Did you even forget who I was after coming here?!", her eyes were blazing with anger. "Huh?!....w...oh...wel.....em......well obviously not?!", she shattered. "and what the hell are you doing here?", Liz asked. "huh?! Aren't the one who should be asking that?!", Zaiina shotted back. "Just answer me!", Liz ordered. "me? I'm here to pick you up. your mom called and she is worried and you seriously didn't forget the party didn't you? or did you?", she questioned. "What party......? oh shit! that party.......oh no no no! I'm really dead.... wahhh....... I can't go back now! My parents will kill me and i'm still-!", Liz wailed as zaiina cut her off ,"Oh no you won't......come here young lady..... we are late! there is no time to loose", she said as she started dragging Liz towards the classroom door when Liz resisted and freed her self. "zaiina I'm sorry but I am busy I can't attend it and let my parents know about it", she shotted back. "are you crazy?! you know what kind of an event it is right?!", "sorry but not now!", she said as she looked at Jeoen who seemed to be totally puzzled at the moment. "Liz if it's because of me and the lesson please you should be going....this party which you two are talking about seems to be important.....you better be leaving.....", Jeoen finally spoke up. "but-", as Liz started her sentence she was once again cut off but this time it was Jeoen, "we can always practice sometime later. you better be leaving now", "OK fine.....", she groaned as she made her way through the class.....the old building.....the school gate and finally reached home after the long run. "Go get dressed quick and let's talk later", both nodded in agreement as Liz went inside her house and zaiina ran off to hers which wasn't that far from Liz's.

"Liz! Oh my god! look at the time! it's already 6.30! quick hurry and get dressed we are late!", Liz's mom exclaimed as Liz went into her room to get dressed. after kicking her door shut she quickly had a quick wash and the maidens helped her dress. "was that it? I don't think so.....the rest are for during the ride I guess.......ahhh why did I forget....I am seriously dead......", she said to herself as she got her pair of high heels on. "OK I am done...........oh god! it's already 7.05 i better hurry up!", she sledded down the staircase and got into the limousine which was parked in front of their house to take them to the party.....yes it was that kind of a party in which many famous politicians, actors and actresses and even famous businessmen attended. for a fact lizana wasn't from an ordinary family.......the scarlet family is the owner of the world famous company named AIIA.

"Lizana dear I think we've got some unsettled business to settle", she heard the cold voice of her father. "I'm seriously dead and that zaiina must have told everything to them.....", she was wild inside thought she calmly replied, "please let me explain everything dad......", "there's no need for any explanations we got to know everything from Zaiina and she said that you were in the coffee shop with her and it seems as if both of you had forgotten this event! I should have just sent a vehicle to pick you up", rage kept on igniting from his voice. yes he was gonna send a vehicle to pick her up specially today but kept on refusing as usual as it would just reduce the limited time that she has to spend with her friends during the walk and now she was completely confused from what her dad had said. "coffee? What coffee? never mind it seems as if she had lied to them.....guess i'll just play along.....", she was a bit relieved but her dad's voice kept on igniting her from within but she kept calm....."Dad I just went to get some coffee after the after school session which was compulsory.....and yes I forgot but even if I did remember I would've been still late.....", she said keeping her composure. "Oh is that so? they dared to go against me? even after I called them personally to make sure that my daughter comes home early today?!, he laughed sarcastically, "I'll be calling that freaking school sometime later when i'm free and make them clear of who I am.........and what I can do if we they ever mess with me.........!"

"those words kept on echoing in my mind and I was almost about to scream back at him when a voice within me stopped me from doing so.......'Liz, he's your father...you have to calm down'........guilt was taking over me......I already knew what was gonna happen when he calls the school.......they never went against him......but I did......it seems it won't be too long till I get my annual punishment from him....."
