Name: Kakashi Hatake
Age: 18
A new recruit came in today. It's the Uchiha heir, Itachi Uchiha. Academy graduate at age seven, becoming Genin that same year, Jonin tank at age nine and an ANBU at thirteen.
I'm impressed. He's a full out prodigy, I'd be pretty happy if he was recruited into my team.
Yet something is off about him. I see a look in his eyes that I saw in myself just five years ago.
Depression.
Regret.
Anxiety.
I'm wondering what could be with a thirteen year old with those types of looks in his eyes. I knew I looked like that because of trauma, but what could have happened to itachi to provoke this? He had a family, strong position, influence and intelligence.
Though I have a hunch its the coup d tate that The Third was talking about... I overheard.
I wonder if his recruitment into the ANBU was was because of that.
Its just a hunch though.
For some reason, they usually turn out right.
