Chapter Four
I didn't get any sleep at all. I kept tossing and turning and thinking about Ashton.

Why does he have to be so annoying? So deliciously annoying?

Wait what?

Did I seriously just say that?

I need help, I think I'm going crazy. I also need to stop talking to myself.

I stopped the alarm clock and rolled out of bed.

"E'Lisa, you bitch." Chelsea yelled.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"Look what you did to my face." She yelled.

"Well look at that." I chuckled.

She had blonde eyelashes. Which looked ridiculously funny.

"Bitch." she lunged at me and I easily dodged her swing.

"Come on now, you know you can't beat me." I challenged.

She went in again. I moved right and slapped her left cheek.

She gasped and held her cheek.

"Now, get out of my fucking room before it's more than a slap." I threatened.

Today I had detention, and the worse thing about is that Ashton is with me. All week.
Ugh.

I was dreading going to school but I'll be anywhere but here.

The great thing about Florida is that it's never that cold here which I love. But it does get chilly in the fall.
I put on my pink jogging pants and a purple undershirt, I also threw on my white and pink flower shirt over it. I grabbed my white and black converse and went out the door.
Now that I have contacts I don't need those ugly glasses anymore.

I walked outside with my favorite skateboard and started riding to school.
I didn't feel like taking my car.

"Hey Lis." Ashley yelled to me.

"Lis?" I asked.

"Yeah it's a nickname I gave you." She answered.

"Okay. Ash." I laughed.

"Ooh that's a pretty nickname for me."

"Yeah that only I can call you." I held my pinky finger out.

"Okay okay." we connected pinkies.

Ashley and I were getting closer and closer. I could actually start calling her a friend. I also know some of her friends.

Like Haven and Sierra. They're pretty cool and hilarious.

It was after lunch and I had my child development classes.

"What, you have to be kidding. Please tell me your kidding." I yelled at Mrs.Ball.

"Actually E'Lisa, I'm not. Your the only two who doesn't have partners so it is only reasonable."

Reasonable. This is crazy.

"Why Ashton though. Why not someone else." I pleaded.

"Because I'm the teacher and I say so. Now go sit with your partner and your new baby." she pushed me forward.

Ashton and I were assigned to be parents to a fake baby. Which we would have to fake feed, burp, change,etc.
We have to act like its a real baby. For a whole freaking month.

Kill. Me. Now.

"Hey baby momma." Ashton laughed.

I have to admit that made me smile, but I still hate his freaking guts.

"Let's just get this over with. I have work today after school so I won't be able to watch the... thing." I said to Ashton.

"Well I guess I'll just watch the baby tonight." He concluded.

Why is he calling this thing a baby. It has no feelings.

"Yeah." I said awkwardly.

"So see you later?" he asked.

"See you later." I finally said.

Maybe he's not all that bad. Maybe just maybe, we could be friends.

"Hey. Haven, Sierra and I are going to the movies, wanna come?" Ashley asked.

"Yes sure, but I'll be late because I have detention with your brother." I tell her.

"Well, have fun." She laughs.

"Not funny." I yell after her.
