while josh was out driving to see jenna, tyler was "taking care of business."
he was video calling his best friend while she was still inside the store. her shift was over, she was only gathering her things.

after a good ten minutes, jenna convinced tyler to ask josh out on a proper date.

josh arrived about 20 minutes later due to traffic and once he saw jenna, he smiled brightly at her. they hugged each other before they started to walk around the mall.

"where do you want to go first?" jenna's ocean eyes sparkled in the light overhead. josh thought jenna was really pretty.

"i, uh, don't really know," josh said composing himself. "what about hot topic?" he asked.

"alright," she smiled. "im buying this time."

josh shook his head. "no. im not letting you. that shit's overpriced."

he turned around and started walking away jokingly. he heard footsteps and jenna's sweet voice calling his name. with a cute giggle following it.

as much as josh felt like he should stop messing around, he kept walking, just to hear jenna laugh. he eventually stopped and the two went into their favorite store, buying things for themselves and for each other.
