" Congratulations, Lady Salia, it's a boy! " the blue-skinned female nurse carefully brought the little male infant into her arms. The mother spent resting on a hospital bed where she just finished giving birth. Her husband Amnon Vrok who was a Colonel of the Kree Imperial Army sat on her bedside and felt glad to see his newborn son. He kissed the boy's forehead and held his fingers.

" Amnon, he looks just like you," Salia smiled.

" Well, he has your eyes, my dear. " he said.

" What should we name him? "

" Taron, " Amnon confidently answered. " It means 'Earth'."

" What a wonderful name for him! Taron! " his wife exclaimed. " Well, I believe our son will go there when he grows up."

" Well, if he wants to then. " he chuckled in reply and noticed the little infant's gasping for air. Amnon and Salia became anxious to see Little Taron's difficulty.

" Great Pama! He's turning pale! " his mother cried.

" I'll go get a doctor, Salia," the father replied as he rushed outside his room. He found the male physician named Doctor Zen-Dann who was bald and wearing a white coat.

" Colonel Amnon Vrok," Zen-Dann called him. " You have come to see me."

" Yes, Doctor, " Amnon anxiously replied. " It's our newborn son, Taron. We need your help! "

" All right, then. I'll go check him."

Moments later, Doctor Zen-Dann diagnosed and treated the neonate which the parents seemed anxious to hear the results. Going out of the neonatal intensive care unit, he looked at them and remained calm. The nurses kept monitoring the infant boy's vitals.

" Doctor, how's Taron? " Salia asked.

" Apparently, he is born with a congenital heart disease," the physician answered. " According to the newborn scans, I'm afraid he will survive within hours or days."

" Oh no, please! " Amnon cried. " Doctor Zen-Dann, please there must be another way to cure him! "

" Well, the Psyche-Magnitron may be too harmful for the boy, but I discovered something from his DNA that could possibly cure him through our terrigen crystals."

" Terrigen exposure?! " his parents raised their voices in shock. " But, how? "

" Taron inherits your Kree-Inhuman gene, Lord Vrok, but it seems you haven't unleashed your true nature. "

Salia intently looked at her husband when she wanted to convince him. The Colonel raised his eyebrows at his wife. He had fully understood that his family had recessive Kree-Inhuman genes despite of Salia's family line who had the same disease. For her, the physician's opinion was the only way to keep the young Taron alive.

" Salia? What are you thinking? " he curiously asked.

" My dear, perhaps we could let our child expose to terrigen material. I want him to live longer. "

" Are you certain of that? "

" Yes, " she nodded and looked at her son lying on the crib. " He has to ascend from his condition. "
