It was December and I was at my uncle's house. My cousins were listening to music and I usual I sat there trying to discover the newest tunes.
-That sounds great! - I said to the eldest.
-I know right they are pretty popular around the world, but they started in a small garage in London....- My cousin explain to me passionately.
-Everyone! Dinner will be ready soon- Shouted my aunt.
I loved having dinner at my uncle's the food was always amazing, I didn't mind cooking, but when someone cooks for you is one of the best acts of love you can do, and my family was amazing doing that.
*Suddenly the doorbell ring*
-I go! - I said letting my cousins enjoy the music.
-Hi! - Said a tall smiling guy.
I was perplexed. I was just there standing in front of the door without a word. I was trying to think of something but none of that could be said outloud.
-I'm Ravi! You must be the famous cousin! - He said.
-The famous cousin? What is he talking about? Who is he?- just kept thinking to myself still in front of the door.
-Oh! Ravi you are here! - Said my cousin pulling me aside to let the tall guy enter the house.
-Look! We were listening to this group do you remember!- Said my younger cousin.
-Oh yes! I gotta tell you they are good but they are even better live- Ravi said with excitement in his voice.
I didn't said a thing, I just stand there listening to them talk. Ravi had big puppy eyes, and they shine hard when he talked about music especially.
-You can continue the conversation while eating- Said my aunt entering the room.
We all sat down. The food looked delicious. The puppy eyed guy sat in front of me.
They started talking about music and I found out that Ravi actually was a friend of my cousins for a while now and that they meet at a concert. He was only a couple of years older than me not that this was important information but he seemed like a big baby and by that I mean that every time he talk about something his eyes shined harder and harder.
-So do you enjoy music too?- Ravi asked me.
-Of course! It's a big thing in our family, that and food - Said finishing my plate.
-I can see that! - He said smiling.
His smile was brighter than my future. Not to be pesimistic but pearls were garbage compared to those teeth
After the dinner we sat on the sofa again and listed to more music.
-I'm curious about what you like? - Ravi said to me.
-Well a bit of everything but I'm so in to this group right now- I said taking a CD out of my bag.
-Do you have the CD? You are amazing! Not a lot of people buy physical copies these days....- He said looking at the CD.
-You've already conquered his heart- Said my cousin laughing behind me.
-SHUT UP! - I said kicking him.
Ravi just blush and kept his eyes on the CD.
We spend all night talking and I just gotta say that I'll for sure come to my uncle's house more often.
