(So I've been wanting to freaking write this one for a long time 😂 However, I'm a loyal NaLu and ErLu fan (DON'T HATE ME MY GAYS) so I can't bring myself to do it 😂 But now, I CAN! Y'all get ready 😂)

This timeline goes way back to the Edolas period cuz.... there's nothing better than putting a plot twist in a cliche one shot 😂

Lucy's POV

Is it just me or is the guild getting odd?

"Hey Lucy, what ya spacin' for?" A pink haired guy asked me.

"Good to know that dorky head of yours still knows how to identify if someone's mind is out of this world." Is what I always say. But deep inside, I want him to notice what I feel for him.

But..

"Natsu! Wanna go on a mission with me?" Lissana invited. She looked at me, grinning. "How about you, Lucy? Wanna come with?"

I want to. I really do. But for some reason, I always get rescued. I hated that. It always made me feel weak. I know I am but Lissana, the most gentle girl I know rescues me.

"It's fine. Thank you for the invitation though." I forced to make a smile.

Lissana gave me a confused stare but didn't push. Natsu was fired up and dragged Happy along.

"Hey Natsu? Is Lucy gonna be alright?" Happy whispered.

That cat. He doesn't have to worry about me. Atleast Happy actually cares.

"Oh come on, Happy! Give her a little trust! She's a teammate! She defeated a lot of powerful mages alone! She got that utata patata, she'll be fine!" Natsu grinned. I was touched. But utata patata?

"It's Urano Metria, Natsu." I smiled.

Lissana grinned. "We trust you, Lucy. But if you want to come, tell us. Okay?"

I nodded and they sat down on a table.

I sighed.

These past few months have been dry. No memorable event as for now. Erza has been doing her missions herself and the same goes to Gray eversince Lissana came back and always invite Natsu.

I guess they make a pretty good pair.

Well, I can't slack off! I need to find a job!

"Hey Lucy, I really advice you to train. You're falling behind. Even Lissana is stronger than you as you are right now." Natsu told me.

"Celestial Mages are stronger than you think." Master countered Natsu.

Natsu got confused and Master continued. "The spirit's magic power depends on the mage. If the mage is insanely powerful, the spirit's magic power is strong too. It's not about the physical combat. Sometimes, it's about magic concentration."

"Natsu is right though." One guild member agreed and then most of them did. I didn't have anyone to defend me except for master.

My closest friends went on a mission. I'll show them I can do this.

Reader's POV

Training has been dull lately. Everything seems so.. weak. Nothing seems exciting for me anymore.

A monster tried to hunt me, which is sort of sad. It tried to jump on me and a flick of my finger made him burst, grossing me out.

Ancient blood spell is my most powerful magic ever learned. I know Ancient dragon slaying art as well, but I guess the damage it gives isn't as strong as I expected.
