Jin knew he was being foolish but he was hurt and mad and other emotions he could not name right now.
He wanted to cause a scene and punch the idiots who put him in this mood, but it looked like you had already handled it.
He hated when his insecurities got the better of him. Loosing his head in liquor was not helping the matter.
As you drew near Jin said “ You are a good dancer. I knew you would be. You look great out there. Go dance with them. “
If you had not been watching him as closely, you would have been pissed. But you saw the last thing he wanted was for you to walk back to the dance floor.
You neared him and he said “ Go dance. Go have fun"
“Ok, if you are sure” You nodded and you saw his shoulders drop as he looked away.
Then you cupped his chin and said “ only if it is with you"
Then he shook his head with a sad smile said “Don’t you know? I am not a dancer” and looked away again.
What was this?? This was something real to delve into. But this was not the time.
You bumped into his leg and said “I'm going to need you to move" and his burst of anger caught you off guard “ I told you I don’t dance “ he ground out.
You bumped his leg again and said “I did not ask you to dance I asked you to MOVE! I want my seat"
He looked at you in confusion, but uncrossed his legs and began to stand up. You pushed him back down in the chair and nudged his thighs apart with your knee.
Pointing to his lap you said “ that is my seat! And the only dancing I am going to do the rest of this night will be done right there"
He gaped at you for a moment then his brain kicked in. He grabbed your waist and drug you onto his lap. He crushed you into a kiss. You snuck your arms around his neck and drew him close to you.
Your quiet moment was quickly interrupted by the arrival of the entire team to the table. Everyone was laughing and challenging each other to a drinking contest.
They naturally drew you into conversation and you found you really enjoyed talking to them. You felt Jin begin to tense up beneath you.
You leaned into his ear and whispered “Are you ready to leave now?”
He shook his head and answered “In a bit"
A couple of Jin's friends were coaxing you into joining the drinking game. You kept refusing but they were persistent.
The drunk friend from earlier came behind you again and placed one hand on Jin's shoulder and one on yours and began to tease you about joining the drinking came.
Jin shrugged off his hand and stood, moving to stand between the two of you.
“We are leaving now" he announced and hustled you away from the table. You made him stop long enough to gather your things.
He strange mood was back. He stopped a staff member and asked for a car to be brought around.
His mood made you tense as you waited for the car. What was he thinking?
