Shanakay awoke with a throbbing headache. She opened her eyes but closed them when a bright line shone in her face which she soon realized was the sun. She opened them again and when she remembered what had happened she shot up from the bed and looked around. She was in a room that looked frightfully like the one she had at her dad's house. Royal blue sheets on a queen sized bed that was in the middle of the room, a dresser beside the window on the left and on the right a huge bookshelf lined with her favorite books. The bed had two side tables and a large bottle of water was placed on one of them. The seal hadn't been broken so Shanakay took this to mean no one had tampered with it. A white door stood close to the dresser and Shanakay determined that to be the bathroom. She cautiously came off the bed and walked towards the door. She tried to pull it but it was locked so she went to the windows but they were grilled on the outside and she couldn't go through the bars. She thought about screaming for help but all she could see was a place surrounded by forest and in the distance there was a huge wall that seemed to encircle the property. She looked down to see how far she was and she figured she was on the second floor. Sighing, she walked away from the window to sit on the bed feeling defeated. The bed was comfortable but it did not comfort her mind as she tried to understand why she was kidnapped. Did David really do this? She thought to herself. The door opened suddenly revealing a tall, sturdy and muscular black man with one dark eye and the other a bush green. He stood in the doorway and said,

"He will see you now."

She looked at him puzzled and asked,

"What's going on? Who will see me now?"

He didn't answer so Shanakay decided that she wouldn't budge until she found out what was going on. The man mumbled spoiled brat under his breath and within a minute he grabbed her hand and dragged her down the stairs of the big house,
"Stop it you're hurting her!" David shouted at the end of the stairs.  The man immediately stopped and mumbled sorry before letting her go and excusing himself. David held out his hand for Shanakay to hold and she looked at him, shock plastered on her face. He held her hand and pulled her with him into a room. When they got in the room she pulled her hand from him and stared at David with fire filled eyes. She asked in an angry tone,

"David, what is the meaning of this?"
He looked at her and smiled,
"Shanakay does it matter? Aren't you comfortable?"
She answered him in a harsh tone, "Comfortable! Comfortable? Do you realize that you kidnapped me? David what the hell?"

His eyes held a sorrowful emotion for a second and then it was replaced with an unreadable emotion. He chuckled but this only fueled Shanakay's anger. What she believed were dead emotions awakened from her heart and it turned into rage. All she wanted to do was wipe that smile off his face. She wanted to grab his neck and squeeze the life out of him but she held back. David picked up his phone and called the man to come back for her which the man did. He came and she was ushered back to the room and left there where she paced up and down the room trying to find out why she was being held captive. She hadn't thought much of David when she was free but now she wasn't sure if she knew him. The man downstairs wasn't the David she knew and she was sure of that. She had loved him at one point but she always thought he could never love her in that way. She stopped mid thought when she realized she had totally forgotten to ask how long she had been here. Her mother must be worried she thought.

She was in deep thought when the man who she assumed was David's bodyguard, came in and put a box on the bed. She looked at him pitifully and turned away. He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him without once looking in her direction. She stared at the box from a far and contemplated whether or not she should open it. Was it something to kill her? She thought.

Finally she opened the box cautiously to find an off shoulder, black laced, short front and long back black dress and black six inch heels. She took them out and read the card:
