"BEEP BEEP BEEP" went my stupid alarm. Oh god, let me go back to sleep. Then I realized it was moving day. I jumped out of bed and straight into the shower. I stripped off and let my body soak in the hot water, my troubles fading away.

I hopped out quickly and changed into a pale pink, lacy shorts, floral crop top and my signature black, high-top converses. I tied my long hair back into a ponytail, and put on some light makeup. I checked my now empty room for anything I could have left behind. I have to say, as much shit the town has put me through, I am going to miss it. One thing i'm NOT going to miss, is Issac and Sara.

"Mum!" I shout out

"Yeah honey?" my mum replies, still in her robe and slippers.

"Can I go down to skate-park, before the moving truck comes?" I ask hopefully

"Uhh.. ok hon, make sure your back by 12:00" I check the time, and I see I have 3 hours. I grab my skateboard and skate a couple blocks to the park. Issac likes to skate too, so I'm hoping I dont have to see him.

Once I get to the skate-park, I put in my earphones, and I shred the half pipe. I try and master this one move, the 360 back flip. Only 10 people in the world have mastered it without breaking a bone. I am focused and ready, and determined to be the 11th person to master this move. The trick is split up in 3 different parts. First, you have to skate the half pipe- easy. Next, you have t jump into a 360 back flip, with a  strong grab. Finally, the landing. I had never been good at landings, so I knew this was going to be hard.

I got into position for the first part. 1, 2..

"Marissa!" that voice is way too familiar. Issac! Before I realize what I'm doing, I crash onto the smooth asphalt.

"Marissa! OMG are you ok!?" Issac says with worry. I want to punch him, but I'm in too much pain to care.

"Uhh.. Marissa, you haven't broken any bones, but you have a nasty gash on your leg." I look down and I see blood, lost of it.

"Just help me get home, and don't talk to me ever again." I say sharply at Issac. He does what I instructed, but doesn't stop apologizing on the way back.

"Marissa, I'm so, so, so sorry, it was all a mistake... will you take me back?" Luckily we are in front of my house now.

"It wasn't a mistake, especially for me. Just leave me alone Issac, get it through your head, we are done." With that I open the door, and slam in right in his face.

"Marissa?! What on earth happened to your leg!?" my mum says, coming over to examine it. My mum being a doctor, runs to get he First Aid Kit, and begins cleaning the deep wound.

"I uhh fell of my skateboard at the skate-park.."

"How did you get home?!"

"Uhh.. Maggie ( one of my friends) was there too, she uhhh walked me home.." I say a bit too hesitantly. I did't want my mum to know Issac took me home, she would have ambushed me with questions.

"Oh ok monkey (my stupid nickname).. as long as your ok." my mum says with relief.

I only then noticed that the movers had taken the couch, beds, refrigerator and washing machine out to the moving truck. After all the furniture and boxes were safely in the truck, we took off for the long drive from the Gold Coast to Sydney..
