The next day, Alice and Mickey were in the kitchen, ready to cook... something. Alice was searching the entire kitchen for stuff. "How about we make a simple fruit salad?" Alice asked, seeing all the fruit in the fridge. There were strawberries, grapes, oranges, kiwis, blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Mickey smiled, "Sure, that'll be a start!" The two grabbed a knife and began cutting. Mickey started by cutting strawberries, and Alice started with the kiwis.
After the tenth strawberry, Mickey made a mistake, cutting his hand, and making it bleed. Mickey winced the moment it happened. Bendy heard this immediately and rushed to the kitchen. "Mickey, are you okay?" He was worried, yet, the sight of the red liquid increased his hunger. It was tempting, but something told him that it wasn't worth it. But then again...
Mickey replied, "Yeah, I'm okay. Bendy, are YOU okay? You're staring at my hand like I cut off my finger or something."
"Oh. I'm fine. You patch that up and I'll take care of the rest."
"Okay then..."
When no one was looking, he swept the blood that had landed on the plastic chopping board off with his hand and licked it away, like he did on the night of the attack. Then he proceeded to wash the board, dry it off and put it in it's place. He muttered to himself, "That should satisfy my thirst for now." Then, Mickey appeared beside him, "Wow! It's cleaner then I believed it would be!" Bendy just walked away. He wanted to get away from Mickey. Being the cause of anything involving the mouse getting hurt was the last thing he wanted at that time.
'Wait... why is that mouse always on my mind when I should be worrying about myself. Is he winning my heart, am I- just....' Bendy thought to himself as he wandered to the guest room, where he rested his body on the bed before slowly drifting off to sleep.

"Mickey, maybe I should take care of the strawberries. I don't want you getting hurt again. You should go check on Bendy. I saw him walk towards the rooms." Alice told Mickey, while taking to strawberries over to her side of the counter. Mickey replied, "Okay Alice. See ya in a bit." He began walking to the hallway that held some rooms. He checked his room, and then the guest room, where he found Bendy fast asleep.  He was laying down on his back, breathing softly, the window closed. His tail rested on the side of the bed, the point almost touching the ground. Mickey, in slight curiosity, rubbed Bendy's head softly, only to see his body move, as if it were looking for a more comfortable position, his tail curling up a bit as well. 'What if I rub Bendy's head again, but I was closer to him?' Mickey thought as he wandered closer to Bendy before rubbing his head once again. The demon's body responded the same way as before, but his tail just wrapped around Mickey's leg. He couldn't move the wrapped up leg so he was stuck there. He looked at Bendy silently, careful not to awake him. The tail didn't move, so Mickey was forced to watch the demon as he slept. After about 20 minutes, Mickey thought, 'He does look kind of cute. Should I stay here a bit longer.'

(Okay, 564 words. Not bad. And ey! They're getting closer and closer together!)
