"Babe I will be fine. I am going to finish up here and meet you back at home. Besides I'm pretty sure it won't go so smoothly if I'm there. I'm not her favorite person anyway"
"Ask me if I care about what she would or wouldn't like? I care about you and how you feel. Tell me now and I won't go."
"Go, I will be fine besides I promised the kids we would do scary stories tonight."
"Love you, make sure you call once you get in the car." I say kissing her like it will be the last time I will ever kiss her.
"Love you too, now go." She says after catching her breath and coming down from that high after that kiss. It is always like that, explosive. I kiss her forehead one more time inhaling her scent and leave.
Right now, all my trust is in Kenny and this lady better be right. I swear if anything is to happen to Tanessa, I don't know what I would do. I do have to say thanks to to Kenny though, we were able to figure it all out and work the plan in place. Which is to basically allow them to kidnap her and catch them in the act. To say that I did not agree to that plan too easily is mildly putting it. Vanessa is away with the girls like planned from the beginning, we had to make sure that we didn't stop our regular routines and plans just in case Kevin got suspicious. My homie has been keeping an eye out Kevin and the dude Barry for me. Letting me know Tan has been with more and more lately.
Kenny even made sure to worm her way in too. Kevin has been too laxed thinking the end is near, he has been slipping up. Talking a little too much to our dear old friend Kenny. Telling her that his wife's family is well off and when she dies he inherits everything. Shit I even think Barry is fucking Tan at this point. Not that give a fuck just as long as shit ain't coming my way but it is. So here I am having to play cool, meet with Tan and let them take them take my heart. She is going to be so scared and I'm not going to be there to help her. Fuck this shit, just as I turn around to go back my phone rings.
"What are you doing?" Kenny immediately ask
"I can't leave, I can't do it."
"I promise you, nothing will happen to her."
"Fuuucck, how did you even know I was going back?"
"Because you love her. Now get your shit together and go meet Tanya." Kenny says and hangs up and I do just that.
