Jinyoung left and Subin came back home.
"I thought you were at Soo-ah's. Well Jinyoung told me that." You said cleaning up the living room.
"Yeah. She had some medicine and her house is close so I decided to go there instead of heading to the pharmacy." She said and plopped down on the couch.
It was already quite late. You were very tired. You haven't slept that much the past few days. You always had thoughts in your mind at the time so it was hard to fall asleep. This night you were at ease. Your thoughts were steady and normal. You imagined what your day could be tomorrow. You looked up at the ceiling. Your father. He found your number. There has to be something. Something that could keep you away from him. You thought of it. The idea was good but it was really bad at the same time. You fell asleep with that thought in your mind.
-morning-
You made breakfast for you and Subin. You were feeling productive today. As you were eating breakfast, you told Subin what you decided to do. She was shocked to hear that. You didn't tell her that it was because of your father.
"I want to find a better job. I studied English before so don't worry I'll be fine." You told her.
"Okay I understand. Do you have enough money? Are you going to tell Jinyoung?" Subin asked you.
"I'm going to save up don't worry. And no. If I do, he'll just try to stop me. I'm planning to leave in about 5 months."
"I see. Are you going to quit your studies?"
"Yes. If anyone hears I studied at SNU (Seoul National University) they will definitely take me."
"Okay. But what about a visa?"
"I'm only going to stay there for about 2 years. So pretty much until you graduate from SNU."
Subin helped you with finding apartments and a plane ticket. Also a good moving company that could take your stuff overseas.
