You met an amazing guy in America. He was also Korean. So he understood your situation. You weren't in any romantic relationship. He was pretty much a very close friend.
You still thought of Jinyoung. He probably mad at you for leaving for two years. Thing is you forgot about him about a year ago.
You still kept in touch with Subin though. You planned to go back to Korea. You wanted to move back with Min-jin. He agreed and you would surprise Subin at her graduation.
-time skip to the graduation-
Since you were a loved student, the teachers let you participate in ceremony. You were graduating too though. You took online classes (this is not a real thing for SNU).
The ceremony went smoothly. Then they called your name. You heard silence. Even though they were clapping all you heard was silence and Jinyoung. He was sat next to Ji-yeon.
You saw this shine from her neckline. You saw your necklace wrapped around her neck. The necklace you gave Jinyoung to remember you.
You ignored it and walked across that stage receiving your diploma.
-Jinyoung's POV (first person)-
I heard her name. 'Y/F/N'
No that wasn't her. She left. I didn't see her for two years. But she looked me in the eye. I saw her face.
My first love. My first heartbreak.
