CHAPTER TWO - A PAINTING WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.

Cherry had arrived an hour after my mom came home. To say she was shocked was an understatement. She was ecstatic because she was to become an auntie. She was slightly disappointed and confused as to why I wouldn't tell her who the father was, but what baffled me was how she could be so excited, calm, and worry free. If only she knew who the baby's father was then there would be something to be worried about.

I just wasn't ready to tell her or my mom yet. I first had to figure out how I was supposed to tell the Alpha. I mean he was getting married in a week for freaking sake! He would probably blow me off and tell me I slept with someone else, that I was just trying to ruin his life and trying to get his attention. I mean he's a decent guy, I think, but if you look at it this way...

Girl who says she got pregnant by the one night stand + he's about to get married = looks like I'm trying to ruin his wedding and reputation, which is not what I want to be doing. Oh and add supposed jealousy...nope so not jealous.

"Oh my gosh! I'm going to be an auntie!" squealed Cherry in excitement. I can hear my mom snort in amusement from her bedroom, werewolf hearing has its perks. Cherry stops and glares at my door and huffs in annoyance, but you could see a hint of a grin on her face. My mom loves Cherry like a daughter but sometimes Cherry is a little, no more like a lot wacko and too much to handle.

"So do you think it's going to be a boy or girl?" she asks staring at my stomach in curiosity. I shrug my shoulders, I was hoping for a girl, but a boy would be nice too.

"I dunno, I hope it's a girl." I tell her looking down at my stomach. In a few months I would start showing and that was something I was not looking forward to. How was I supposed to explain that I was pregnant with no mate? Plus the problem of telling him was outweighing the most.

"Cherry?" I ask looking out the window in my bedroom.

"Yeah?" she replies sitting down next to me and poking my stomach gently. Giving her a weird look I reply.

"How am I supposed to tell the father?" I ask frowning. Why did I let myself get dragged to that stupid club? Now that I remember correctly she promised to buy me art supplies and she did get me Dutch for the whole month, but she had one more week left after the whole trying to set me up on a date so that we could go on a double date.

Long story short, the guy tried kissing me, when I had already escaped many of his failed attempts and made it completely obvious that I wasn't interested. I had enough and when he tried again, I punched him in the nose. What a bloody mess it was, pun intended.

"Honestly just come up to him and drop the bomb. Better sooner than later so you can get it off your chest." she replies casually, but I was sure it wasn't that simple. That was a big ass bomb to drop on someone, especially an Alpha of a well known pack. I can just imagine, 'Oh hey there Alpha just wanted to let you know I'm pregnant. Yep you're the father, surprise!' Hah! That would definitely go over so damned well.

"It's not that easy Cher!" I cry out exasperated. "Besides you owe me art supplies!" I grin wiggling my eyebrows as she groans. "And another week of Dutch!" She groans again falling dramatically onto my bed making me bounce.

"But you take forever in the crafts store!" she wines. I shrug my shoulders, "not my problem, you promised!" I sing-song. She groans again and falls back onto my bed sighing.

"Alright...let's go" she says defeated getting up.

"Hold on let me change!" I yell as she walks out of my room. Slowly getting off the bed I make my way to my closet and change into something decent but comfy; skinny jeans, a loose white top and a black rain jacket. Taking the perfume that really isn't really perfume but a scent masking spray I give myself a few squirts and closes the cap, hiding it in it's original spot.
