Y/N Shivered as she ate her soup. Jim had to admit he maybe went a bit overboard... He'd make it up to her somehow...
"Y/N?" Jim asked tentatively.
"Yeah?" Y/N said looking up from her bowl.
"Do you want to go ice skating after lunch?" Jim suggested.
"Sure I guess." Y/N said tiredly. She knew that her #williamstea would help give her more energy.
'This was perfect!' Jim thought. He was already picturing how she would be clumsy on the ice, she would fall and he would catch her. She would look at his lips. And he would be able to cross one thing off his list...
"Jim?...Jimmy?" Y/N said waving her hand in front of his face.
"What, yes?!" Jim stuttered.
"Are you ready to go?" Y/N asked impatiently.
"Er yeah." Jim said turning red.
Y/N did a double take. Did Jim Moriarty just blush?!?
Jim jumped out of his chair and grabbed his coat.
"Come on Darling..." He said as Y/N linked arms with him. Y/N grabbed the I-pad from the drawer and carried it with her. They walked along the snowy path talking about their favorite films and music. Their laughter rang out in the clear winter air. After a half hour of walking they came to the lake. Their was a bench with two boxes of Ice skates in them.
They put them on and Y/N went out on the ice. Jim stared at the ice.
"Are we sure the ice is thick enough?" Jim asked Sebby.
"Yeah Rachel and I tested it before you came." Moran smiled. Jim glared at him. Moriarty had never been skating before.
"Whats wrong Jim?" Y/N asked.
"I uh..." Jim said scratching the back of his neck.
"Oh come on you fraidy cat." Y/N said, as she grabbed Moriarty's hand and dragged him onto the ice.
Y/N soon learned that Jimmy was a bit unsteady. So she took the lead teaching him as she went.
Jim was so embarrassed. This was not going to plan. Y/N made it look so easy, but Jim felt uncomfortable and clumsy on the ice. It really didn't help that Moran was watching. Or that he felt the need to laugh. Jim's face heated up, as Y/N came over to see what was the matter.
"Oh ignore Moran, he is an idiot.-" Y/N said immediately guessing why Jim was uncomfortable.
"Hey!" Sebby gasped in mock pain.
"- It doesn't matter if you can't skate. I don't care! It just means I get the fun of teaching you!" Y/N beamed.
"Thanks Y/N." Jim smiled.
They skated for a few more hours then walked back home.
Jim wondered, as they walked the trail back to the cabin.
Could Y/N be feeling this way too?
