I splutter as Ciel plunges the blade into my upper side.

"But.... They're t-tricking us! Can't you see were practically..."

I cough up a small amount of blood. "The same?" Tears stream down my eyes as Ciel stands above me.

"It's time to end you. Alois Trancy." He looks down at me. In that moment.. I felt something. Something for Ciel.

He brings the sword down. I close my eyes. There is a clatter.

Claude knocked the sword out of the way. I was safe. For now.

My eyelids slowly parted as the sunlight streamed through the lace curtains in my bedroom. I wince as I sit up. The wound in my side was a painful reminder of last night's incidents. I don't know what happened. But the look in his eyes.. They almost held... Pity.

Hannah stumbles into my room.

"Master. I must change your bandages." I look down at her. What a disgusting creature. She has the same intentions as Claude.

"No. Claude will do it. Get out." She bows and leaves quickly.

Claude starts changing my bandages.

"You're lucky the sword didn't get one of your organs. That would be..."

"Terrible." He lies. All he does is lie. That filthy butler.

"I'm going out tonight. Alone." I say to Claude. He nods. If he so much as cared about me, he would insist to accompany me. I scoff and walk out of the tall double doors into the warm outdoor air. Through the garden. Past the statues. Away from Claude. Alone.

I find myself on a trail. The cold air whips around me and I become unsure of my surroundings. I don't care anymore.

Bam.

A bullet is fired through my arm.

I scream and collapse.

I bleed out into the darkness.
