Ciel's point of view

I woke up that morning and he was gone. The bed where he slept was left unmade. He said no goodbyes. He was simply gone.

"Sebastian!" I shouted.

"Yes?"

"Find Alois for me. Take me to where he is. That is an order."

For the first time, I was worried.

The carriage stopped at the bottom of a hill.

"I sensed his presence here, my lord."

I trudge up the hill, Sebastian trailing behind.

Oh god.

Alois lay in front of me, a pool of blood under him from large wound in his back. He was rasping for breath.

"Alois!" I shout. I run over to him and start to panic.

"Claude... He did this." He coughed. I lifted up his head and put it into my lap. I move his hair out of his eyes.

"Don't..."

He closes his eyes for a second.

"Forget about me... Please."

His eyes close. I start to cry.

"Alois.." I whisper as tears cascade down my cheeks.

"I love you." He whispers.

He breathes his last breath.
