I wake up in a small dark room. A small amount of light shines upon a patch on the ground.
Ciel steps from out of the darkness just so the light hits his face.
"Ciel."
He nods.
"I was on my way last night to tell you-"
"Shut up. You are now our captive."
My face reddens in frustration.
"You never listen!" I scream.
"Maybe if you were the one to shut up and do it you'd understand what is going on! Claude lied to me!"
Ciel turns around.
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"All this time I've been trying to capture you because you see.. I lived with my young brother when I was younger and he was killed along with my whole town. It is true that we had made a pact to destroy the people of the village. They were crude, nasty people."
"Go on."
"Claude said it was Sebastian. He lied. I found all of this out this morning. He was talking to Hannah. About killing me. I feel disgusting about what I had done to Hannah and you. I'm scared!" By then I was crying.
Ciel leaned forward and put his arms around me. He hugged me. I gasped in shock.
"Why don't you hate me?"
"Because we are the same."
