Jason's betrayal against Tommy

Chapter ten Jason and Tommy make up and become friends again

Jason and Tommy started out as friends but over time they have been on an on again off again friendship. Right now they are on the off again friendship part. Jason has betrayed Tommy by going after his girlfriend and he wants to make up with Tommy but he is not sure how he is going to do it. "Tommy might not forgive me for going after Kimberly but I am with her now." Jason said to himself. Little did Jason know that Tommy was hanging out with Kimberly when he wasn't around. Jason then thinks that Kimberly might be able to tell him if he will successfully make up with Tommy so he decides to to go visit her. "Hey Kim, can I ask you something?" Jason asked Kim after she came to the door. "Yeah" Kim said. "Okay Kim, do you think that I can successfully make up with Tommy?" Jason asked. "Well yeah, if you really knew him you would know that Tommy would most likely make up with someone within a day, a few days, or a few weeks later." Kim said. "Okay, I will try to make up with him tomorrow." Jason said. The next day at school Jason sees Tommy at his locker looking over some notes for his history class. It's their senior year in high school. Jason walked over to him and before he could say anything Tommy said "Hey Jason, I'm sorry about fighting over Kimberly with you. Can we be friends just like we used to?" Then Jason said "I was going to ask you the same thing and I was also going to tell you that I am sorry about betraying you. Anyway to answer your question yes, we can be friends just like we used to be." Tommy is happy to hear that him and Jason could be friends again but he doesn't know if the friendship is going to go to the off again friendship part. When walking past Jason on his way to his after school activity Jason gets hit on the head really hard by a baseball bat that ends up knocking him out. Tommy knows that Jason got knocked out by the baseball bat that one of his teammates on the high school baseball team hit him with one time. "Dude, why did you do that?" Tommy asked him. "He is not on the team but the main reason is because he was my friend until someone told me that he wasn't going to be my friend anymore." Carlos said. "That was just a rumor Carlos, he was still going to be your friend. I thought that you knew that." Tommy said. Then Carlos said "We should get to practice before we get in trouble for being late." After practice Tommy asked Carlos why he has a metal baseball bat and a wooden one. "I just use the metal bat to knock out people that don't want to be my friends anymore and I use the wooden one for baseball practice." Carlos said. Then Carlos said" So, Jason is still my friend, it's just that I didn't know that it was a rumor that he wasn't going to be my friend anymore." Then Tommy said "That rumor is being spread around the school. Soon the whole school will think that you and Jason are no longer friends." "Well, I have an idea about how we can stop this." Carlos said. "And how are we going to stop this? The first step is to find out who started the rumor and tell everyone that it was just a rumor." Then Carlos said "I know who started the rumor. It was our other teammate, Rocky." Then Tommy said "I need to have a serious talk with him." Tommy goes over to Rocky's house to talk to him. Rocky just called everyone who already heard the rumor and told them that it was just a rumor and to make sure that it doesn't spread around the school again. (A rumor like that got speed around the whole school one year ago.) When Tommy knocked on the door Rocky came to the door. "Hey Rocky, Carlos told me that you started to spread a rumor that Jason doesn't want to be Carlos's friend anymore, is that true?" Tommy said. "Yeah, it's true but I just told everyone that heard it that it was just a rumor. I just hope that no one else starts to spread it again." Rocky said. Meanwhile at Jason's house, Jason is conscious but he doesn't know why Carlos would hit him on the head with a metal baseball bat. Then Carlos knocked on the door and Jason came to the door. "Hey Jason, I was wondering if we can still be friends. The reason why I hit you with the metal baseball bat is because a rumor was spreading around the school saying that you didn't want to be my friend anymore but it wasn't true and I thought it was." Carlos said. "Yeah, we can still be friends. Anyway who was the person spreading the rumor?" Jason asked. "It was Rocky but I think he told everyone that it was a rumor." Carlos said. Then Jason wanted to talk to Tommy but decided to wait until tomorrow. When he sees Tommy at his locker the next day he goes over to talk to him. "Hey, are you and Carlos on the baseball team here?" Jason asked. Tommy said "Yeah we are and by the way did you know that Kim is on the softball team?" Jason then says "I didn't know that but I have the softball schedule and it looks like they have a game after school today at Reefside high school." "Well, that's good because I have practice today after school unless it gets canceled because of the rain." Tommy said. "Didn't you have practice yesterday?" Jason asked. "Yeah but it got cut short because not all of the players were there." Tommy answered. "Okay, do you want to hang out with me and Carlos after practice today?" Jason asked. "I will hang out with you and Carlos after practice unless something else comes up." Tommy said. Then he said "Does Carlos know where to meet you?" "Yeah, I told him to meet me at the front of the school." Jason said. "Okay we will meet you after practice." Tommy said. "Okay I will see you later." Jason said. After practice Carlos and Tommy went to go hang out with Jason. Tommy was happy to be friends with Jason again and that friendship is going to last a very long time.
