"Everypony of Seaquestria! Listen up! Today marks a special anniversary, for on this fateful day,I inherited the Kingdom of Seaquestria from my father and banished Ursula forever!" King Triton declared, "And so it's time to celebrate this victory with a piece written by Sebastian himself for my lovely daughters!"

"Morning, everypony. Today, I have a special song just for the occasion sung by your seven lovely daughters. But most importantly, I wrote this song for my star pupil." Sebastian said.

"And who is that?" King Triton asked.

"Why, Ariel of course. She has a beautiful voice, blessed with such talent that doesn't come to just anypony. Her notes and everything are amazing, I have never heard a voice as beautiful as hers." Sebastian replied.

"Well, let the merriment begin!" Said King Triton.

Daughters of Triton Lyrics (Pony Version)

Ah, we are the daughters of Triton

Great father who loved us and named us well

Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, Allana, and Ariel

In concert we hope to enlighten

The hearts of the seaponies with music's swell

Aquata (Ahahahaha), Andrina (Ahahahaha), Arista, Atina, Adella, Allana

And then there is the youngest in her musical debut

Our seventh little sister, we're presenting her to you

To sing a song Sebastian wrote, her voice is like a bell

It's our sister Ariel!

Sister Ariel!

"Oh, not again!" Sebastian cried.

"Ariel! Where in Luna's name has that sister of yours gone?" King Triton yelled.

"I apologise, but the mare! She'll be the death of me! All she does is swim instead of sing!" Sebastian cried.

"If it weren't for this, the solo could've been mine." Said Aquata.

"Geez, she just has to ruin it for the rest of us. What in Seaquestria is she doing?" Asked another seapony sister.

"Daddy, how come you let her get away with everything? I mean, geez." Aquata asked.

"Now, now. I love all of you equally." King Triton replied.

"Oh please. You obviously love Ariel more than the rest of us!" Atina said.

"And, Daddy, Atina's prettier than Ariel. Can't you see it? That mare has it all! Andrina is obviously smarter since Ariel's a dimwit, Allana is way sweeter and let's not forget Adella. You're the only male attention she's ever gonna get." Said Aquata.

"So, what have you got that blasted Ariel does not?" Asked Adella.

"Oh, I'm definitely a revenge kinda mare." Aquata replied, "And I've definitely got more ambition that that dimwit ever does."

"Enough!" Their father roared.

At that moment, Ariel swims in.

"Oh,would you look at that." Aquata said.

"I'm sorry, Daddy! I really am!" Ariel cried, "I was caught up talking with a seagull on the surface."

"You swam up to the surface again?" King Triton yelled, "That's forbidden! You could've been seen by the ponies of the land, those barbarians! Who knows what they'll do to you?"

"I assure you. Nothing happened. And they aren't barbarians!" Ariel said.

"They're dangerous! Ariel, you're my youngest, so I worry about you the most!" King Triton roared.

"I'm 16!"

"Well, as long as you live under my reef, you are forbidden to swim to the surface ever again, do you hear me?" He shouted.

"You're  so unfair!" Ariel said, running off crying.

If Only (King Triton's Lament) (Pony Version)

If Only she were here, she'd know what to say

She'd firmly and yet gently

Help the mare find her way

She'd know what to forbid

And what we must allow

She'll have the strength and patience

That I lack somehow

Oh, what I would give to have her back right

King Triton turned to Sebastian.

"From now on, Ariel is your responsibility." King Triton told him.

"Mine? But she's a clever seapony! I'm just a crab! Surely, Your Majesty, you could choose somepony else to do it!" Sebastian protested.

"When I make up my mind, I make up my mind and it sticks like glue. You are now in charge of my daughter, no questions asked." King Triton replied.

The crab sighed.

"Yes, Sire." He said.
