Chapter 10

“You’re going to get it midget.” Ashling said as she stood where she was by her desk. She was looking right at Drake with a hungry look in her eyes that made my wolf roar inside of me. How dare she look at my mate like that!!! She shouldn’t even be looking at my mate in the first place!!! Drake grabbed a tighter hold of me and pressed his lips to the back of my neck which calmed down my wolf a bit to a little growl.

          “Ashling, you may go home. You are being suspended for threatening a student, endangering the school’s no bullying environment that has been set up, and for not following the student dress code. Leave now and your suspension will only be for one week and not more. You have 10 minutes to be at your car and leaving. Good bye.” The teacher said as she handed Ashling the paper she wrote and then turned around to walk back to her desk.

          Ashling stared at the paper in disbelief. I bet my mouth was hanging open because when I caught the teacher’s eyes, she winked at me. She wasn’t going to just let her go, I can’t believe it. This is the first teacher that I’ve ever had that has done something like this for me. I should probably learn her name now.

          “What the fuck?!?! What do you mean I’m getting suspended?! This is not right!!! You will regret ever doing this, you and that fucking midget!!!” Ashling said as she fast walked over to the door to leave.

          “Don’t forget Ashling, you now only have 8 minutes to be at your car and driving home. See you in one week.” The teacher said.

          “Ms. Ronny! My favorite teacher!!!” Chase said as he walked through the teacher’s door. He walked over to where Drake and I were sitting and sat down in the chair in front of us.

          “Chase, do you always need to be late? I already put in the attendance and now you’re going to make me change it so that you can be on time. I don’t even know why I keep changing all of your attendances or why you’re one of my favorite students.” The teacher, Ms. Ronny, said. She changes our attendance for us? Wow, she will be my favorite teacher.

          “Because you absolutely love having me in your class.  I am one of your favorite students so that has to come with some special treatment, right? Anyways, what have I missed?” Chase said as he looked around to see everyone was staring at Drake and I and there was no bitch trying to mess with us.

          “Ashling has been suspended, I gained 3 new favorite students, and you were late to my class again. Now, is everyone done pissing me off and disrupting my class?” Ms. Ronny said the last part while looking at Chase. He smiled at her and waved which caused her look to soften a bit and she smiled and shook her head at him.

        “So what will we be learning today, Ms. Ronny?” Hope asked from her seat next to me. I kind of forgot she was even there; she’s been so quiet the whole time.

          “Hope, I’m glad you asked. Today we will not be learning anything new since the bell is about to ring. You can all leave early, have a good day.” She said as she dismissed our class. I got up and Drake followed suit. He wrapped him arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his side. I don’t think he could even reach my waist seeing as though I’m over a food shorter than him. I looked up at him to see he was glaring so I followed were his eyes were and say Ashling walked towards us. Shouldn’t she already be off school property? The fucking bitch needs to go.

          “Drakkkky, I know you aren’t about to let this slut get in the way of all the fun we’ve had. I mean just yesterday we were playing around in that big, big bed of yours. Why don’t you skip the rest of the day to have some fun?” Ashling said as she got closer to us.

          “Ya, that sounds good. I could use some fun after a day like this.” Drake said as he looked at her then down at me. I could tell he didn’t want me there so I unwound his arm from around my shoulder.

          “Told you he would pick me you midget.” Ashling said as she tried to walk closer to Drake.

          “Oh you thought I meant you and me. No, I’m going to be skipping the rest of the day with my mate, Sammy. Have a good day Ashling oh and the principal knows about your suspension and he’s right behind you.” Drake said as he took my hand and led me away from Ashling who was getting in huge trouble from the principal who looked oddly like an older version of Drake.

          “Hey Drake, is that your dad?” I asked as I looked back to see the principal staring at us and when he saw that I was looking he sent me a gentle smile that did not go with his appearance. He was tall, not as tall as Drake but still tall, and he was pretty big. He had a massive build just like all of the guys in the Ryder family and he had dark buzz cut hair and brown eyes that had a hint of gray in them that I could see even as we were walking away. I smiled back at him and waved a little before turning around and burying my head into Drake’s stomach. 

          “Ya, he decided he wanted to be involved with all the pack teenagers so he became the principal.” He said as we continued walking.

          “Wait, I need to tell Jason and Katrina where I’ll be. I don’t want them to ever worry about me.” I said as I kept walking but pulled out my phone to text Jason.

          “Alright, well we will probably be going back to my house. Don’t worry, Ashling is not allowed on the whole 2nd floor unless it’s an emergency or she’s going up to the other floors. Actually no one except my family and my high rankers are allowed on the 2nd floor since their rooms are on that floor also.” Drake said as we walked over to my bike.

          “Ok, I’ll text Jason that we’ll be at the pack house. Oh and I’m driving again.” I said as I ran to my bike and hopped on before texting Jason. When I was done I looked up to see Drake smiling at me.

          “Actually you can’t drive since you don’t know where the pack house is. Hold onto me and I’ll drive.” Drake said as he picked me up and sat down with my behind him. I think he could tell that I was pouting since he turned around and kissed me quickly before starting the engine and shooting off out of the parking lot.
