Bella's POV;
As soon as we arrived in Jericho we came across a crime scene. Unsurprisingly it was crawling with police.
So we decided to check it out. We got out of the car and walked over to near where a dark skinned man wearing the police uniform, who looked to be in charge of the operation, stood.
I was acting as a trainee while Sam and Dean were pretending to be federal marshalls.
I got out my notebook and wrote down things I heard from the conversations the cops were having, mostly about how there were no finger prints, no signs of struggle and the victims name along with his girlfriend's.
Sam and I stayed silent while Dean interjected in the conversation I had gotten the most information from.
"You guys had a case like this one last month, didn't you?" Dean asked.
"Who are you?" The officer inquired.
Dean flashed his ID.
"Federal Marshall's and this is our trainee" Dean answered.
The officer just looked at Sam and Dean in confusion.
"Aren't you two a little young to be Marshall's?" The officer enquired.
"Thats awfully kind of you" Dean laughed.
I could see he was worried.
I took this as my cue to introduce myself.
The best way to get a cop on your side was to have manners. So I gave him a warm smile and shook his hand.
"It's nice to meet you sir, I'm Annalise (Arn-a-lease)" I said, making sure to use the fake name just incase he would want to see my ID.
He gave me a polite smile back, before returning his attention to Dean.
Dean once again asked if there was another case like this one month ago and the officer nodded.
Confirming what we already knew.
"So the victim, you knew him?" Sam questioned.
Once again the officer nodded.
"In a town like this, everybody knows everybody" the officer agreed.
I walked around the car the victim died in.
"Any connections between the victims besides that they're all men?" I queried.
The officer shook his head.
"No, none that we could tell" the officer denied.
"So what's the theory?" Sam inquired.
"Honestly, no clue" the officer sighed.
"Well, that's exactly the kind of crap police work I'd expect out of you guys" Dean huffed.
Sam stomped on his foot and I had to stifle a laugh.
"Well thank you" I said and motioned for the boys to follow me.
As we walked away Dean slapped Sam on the back of the head.
"Ow, what was that for?" Sam whined.
"Why'd you stomp on my foot?" Dean demanded.
"Why do you have to talk to police like that?" Sam challenged.
As the two argued I noticed a cop and two FBI agents heading towards us.
I nudged the boys and they immediately looked at the agents.
"Hello officer, agents" I smiled.
"Agent Moulder, Agent Scully" Dean nodded.
We then left and headed into town to talk to the victims girlfriend, Amy.
________________~~|~~________________When we found Any she was putting up posters about the victim, her boyfriend, and keeping safe.
I walked up to Amy with a soft smile.
"You must be Amy, I'm Annalise, Troy's cousin, and these are his Uncle's Sam and Dean" I said, gesturing to the boys.
Amy continued to put the flyers up.
"He never mentioned you to me" she told us.
I frowned, pretending to look sad.
"We were really close when we were kids. But we haven't seen each other much lately" I sighed, with fake tears in my eyes.
She looked at us as if she was going to start crying. Dean put a hand on my shoulder and had one of the eye conversations with Sam.
Amy nodded sadly.
"Anyways we were looking for him and wanted to ask a few questions" Sam informed her.
Amy and a girl who had interrupted us agreed to talk to us and I wiped away the fake tears.
"Come on let's go to the diner" Amy sighed, leading us to the diner.
_________________~~|~~_______________We found out a lot from Amy and her friend.
She was the last one to talk to Troy.
We also found out about local legend of the woman murdered on the Centennial Highway.
So we went to the local library and I grabbed my computer out of my bag and let Dean research on it.
He tried to find any record of a woman being murdered on the Centennial Highway but found nothing.
I decided to have Sam try.
"Dean, let Sam try" I sighed.
Dean nodded and got out of the chair.
Sam sat in front of the computer and tried multiple things before I had an idea.
"Guys what if it wasn't a murder what if it was a suicide" I queried.
Sam finally got a result.
"1981, Constance Welch, 24 years old, jumps off bridge and drowns in the river" Sam read.
"Does it say why?" Dean inquired.
"Her kids drowned in the bathtub" I read over Sam's shoulder.
"Our babies were gone and Constance just couldn't bear it" Sam quoted.
"Does that bride look familiar to you?" Dean asked.
It was the bridge we were at earlier in the day.
We decided we'd go and check out the bridge at night.
