No one really knows where Estrella Quinn came from.
Very little about her life before coming an orphan or even her family history is known. All that information was probably in her file, however, that file no longer exists. Thanks to the fire that destroyed her orphanage and killing everyone inside leaving her as the sole survivor. Everyone believes that she died in the fire with everyone else but Estrella found herself with nowhere to go and expected to fend for herself.
After her first night sleeping on the street, it just became a routine for her. Once she ran out of food things started getting difficult for Estrella who was only seven at the time. The determination and brains she had been gifted with helped her for a few weeks however things quickly got desperate. That's when she ran into Felix Samuels. Although initially, they distrusted each other, the mutual need for survival turned the two of them into unlikely friends.
Felix taught Estrella how to pickpocket even though it wasn't the best thing she could do. It kept her alive and that was the only thing she really needed.
Except for one thing,
