The surprise

Charlie's POV

It had been over 6 months since Jason and I started dating, and surprisingly the girls were fine with it after a few days. Actually the girls and I have become good friends with all of the Blockheads. Sure we still fight but it fun friendly fights. We still prank each other all the time.

Jason and I have had our ups and downs but we're still strong and we laugh all the time. I love him just as much as I did back in primary school and such. We spend a lot of time together.

I write in my diary. Jason walks in. "Hi, my Charlie bear, how you doing this fine evening?"

"I'm doing just fine my good sir. And what are we doing tonight?"

"It's a surprise. Trust me you'll love it"

"Alright"

I was dressed in a red above-the-knee party dress and Jason in a tuxedo t-shirt and some jeans. Jason cleans up really nicely.

We walk down my stairs and out the door. I look around for his bike.

"I thought we might try the skateboard tonight."

"I don't know Jason."

"Hop on!"

I step onto the board and Jason holds my hips as he walks beside me. "Do you have balance?"

"I, uh, guess so." As I say that he hops on the board and pushes up down the street.

I was too worried about falling off to notice we arrived at the smoothie bar. It was decorated with fairy lights and candles, with some nice calm music. I then notice all my friends dress as waiters. Jason steps off the board and pulls out a chair.

"Ah, thank you." I say as I take a seat.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it, and you got everyone to help out."

He smiles and waves Jess over. "Bring out the meal, please."

She nods and the girls bring out two smoothies, cake and pudding.

"This isn't dinner."

"Never said it was, now eat up or I'll eat it."

"Oh ok, so you're gonna get me hyped up on sugar?"

"Yes!" He smiles a great big grin.

After our food, Jason stands up and holds out his hand. As I take his hand and stand up he pulls me into his chest.

"I love you, Charlie, so much!" He whispers then starts to walk me to the beach.

As we walk down the beach he starts humming a song. I start singing along.

As we finish I lay my head on his shoulder and we lean against the wall, the same wall under the dock where he confessed to me.

The same wall we spent hours under just laughing and playing. The same wall I told him not to draw on the wall when we were 4.

Jason turned to me and kisses me. "Charlie I know I say it a lot but I love you, I have for such a long time. I love you!"

"I love you too Jason, for a long time too. My life wouldn't be as eventful if you weren't here."

I kiss his cheek and run away, just like that day. We spent an hour just being cute till he walked me home, or well more skated me home. He kissed me goodnight and left next door.

Woah I wrote a chapter. Actually I had some drinks and they make me sleepy, and talkative but more importantly affectionate. Since my boyfriend isn't here the next best thing was to write.

I really hope you enjoyed this. And if you read this before 12 hours of it being up then congrats because I might change it when I'm fully sober.
