(Six Weeks Later)
Nicky yawned widely, trying to focus on his schoolwork instead of sleeping. The last full moon had kept him awake all night, roaming the valley with his pack. To his alpha's anger, they had found the scent of a vampire in the area, but couldn't follow the scent across their territory boundaries. Carlo was warning them to be vigilant, since many vampires were stronger than werewolves, except on a full moon.
To add to his problems, every time he went to sleep, he dreamt of Daniel. The dreams were getting worse, or better, depending on how he looked at it. He could barely look Daniel in the eye after waking from one of his dreams. So that, coupled with worry about the vampire, was leading to some sleepless nights.
Shaking his head firmly to clear it, he looked back at his monitor, re-reading the last few lines of his essay. As he began typing again, Kieran and Oliver popped up in a separate window on his screen. Nicky switched on his webcam and opened the school messenger service.
Do either of you know anything about psychology? He typed.
Nope. Why?
Homework. Stuck on an essay.
Ask Daniel.
He's not doing psychology. Nicky replied.
Know anything else about the vampire? Carlo told us to keep a lookout. Seen anything?
No, you?
*virtual shrug* Still thinking Daniel might be one?
I don't think so... it seems very... unlikely. Nicky heard Daniel's key in the door. He's coming in. Talk to you later. Nicky clicked the log off button and turned back to his essay.
Daniel came in and dumped his books on the bed with a heavy sigh.
"I'm knackered. Why do they feel the need to give us so much homework?" He demanded. "I've been in the library for three hours, and accomplished basically nothing." He grunted sourly and flopped onto his bed. He looked over at Nicky. "You're stuck too?" Nicky nodded. He sighed and sat back in his desk chair. "You look terrible." Daniel observed.
"Thanks."
"I speak nothing but the truth," said Daniel, smirking. Nicky grunted sourly.
"I've not been sleeping very well. I've been having... dreams."
"About what?"
"Someone I like," said Nicky after a short pause.
"Lisa?" Nicky shook his head.
"Someone else. Who's already seeing someone."
"Does she like the person she's seeing?" Nicky shrugged.
"I think so."
"You should talk to her," Daniel said. Nicky shook his head.
"I... I'm not sure how to. I don't even know if they like me in that way. It could be really awkward and embarrassing."
"Or, she could feel the same." Daniel pointed out. "You won't know until you try." Nicky looked at him for a moment, thinking hard, before he went over and sat beside Daniel on the bed.
"Daniel... I really like you," Nicky said quietly. He looked away from Daniel. "I have for a while. I know you're seeing Scott, and I don't really know exactly how you feel about him, but I... I really like you." Nicky glanced back at Daniel and saw his mouth was half-open in shock.
"I had no idea," he said softly, after a moment's awkward silence. "How long have you...?"
"A few weeks." Daniel looked down at his knees, still shocked.
"I don't know..." He began.
"Can I just say something?" Nicky asked quickly, before Daniel could shoot him down. Daniel nodded. Nicky stared at him for a moment, before he leant forwards and covered Daniel's lips with his own. Daniel's blue eyes widened in shock, and he made to move backwards, away from Nicky. Nicky quickly reached up and tangled his fingers into Daniel's hair, keeping him close.
"Nicky!" Daniel pulled away with a gasp, looking half-angry, half-longing. "Scott-"
"I don't care about him," Nicky said, pulling Daniel in for another kiss.
"I do," Daniel gasped. "I like him, Nick."
"But not me?" Nicky trailed his lips down Daniel's neck, making his roommate groan softly.
"I don't..." Daniel moaned again, and his protests fell silent. Nicky reached up and pulled off Daniel's shirt, pushing him gently back onto the bed. Nicky's hands glided over Daniel's torso, before he reached down and roughly yanked Daniel's trousers off. Daniel was looking at Nicky, still shocked by what was happening, but unable to stop it.
Before he knew what was happening, Daniel felt Nicky push inside him, and arched his back, a low moan escaping him. Nicky hissed in a breath as Daniel's body tensed beneath him. Daniel's fingers dug into his shoulders as he began to move, hard, low moans escaping their throats. All too soon, they climaxed together, Daniel's body arching against Nicky's.
Nicky held still for a moment, before he rolled off Daniel with a sigh. He looked over at Daniel, who was already looking at him. Nicky smiled.
"That was... good. Said Nicky after a moment, unsure of what to say.
"Yeah," said Daniel quietly. "It was." He sighed. Then he sat bolt upright, looking horrified. "This was terrible!" he looked around for his clothes, and began to pull them on quickly. "I just cheated. On a really nice guy! I'm a cheater!" Without another word, Daniel ran from the room, leaving Nicky staring after him.

Daniel knocked tentatively on the door of Scott's room, his heart still pounding in his chest. He knocked three times, before he heard Scott's low call to enter. Scott was laid on his bed when Daniel went in, his eyes fixed on the ceiling.
"Can I... I need to talk to you about something," Daniel said softly.
"Okay," said Scott, sitting up and turning to stare at Daniel. "Is this a 'I really like muffins' talk, or a 'I just cheated on my boyfriend and let it be taped and broadcast' conversation?" Daniel stared at Scott.
"What?"
"You and Nicky? Four minutes ago? Together? The entire school saw because he posted a video link to the inbox of the entire school... Ringing any bells?"
"He..." Daniel stared at Scott some more. "He taped me?"
