Today a special announcement for this year's Carol's night was made, the entire school was excited. Just in case you don't know what the heck that is, I'll tell you.
Everyone (both students and their families) gather at my school to celebrate Christmas, well it is not exactly Christmas because Christmas is during the holidays.
There are performances done for baby Jesus, drama of the story of his birth, songs are sang [mostly by the school choir (me included), the school band and any student], it usually starts in the afternoon around 5:00 depending on the school authorities till evening latest by 10pm.
We the students wear our ceremonial attire to the occasion whiles others wear any decent attire but those performing could wear whatever they want but only during the performance. Then there is a fireworks display.
Honestly, the part l hate is when I'm having a problem with my voice and the microphone and camera is placed on ME!😡 Why mostly me, I mean there are thousands of choiristers/singers (excuse the exaggeration) on the stage am I the only one visible? Well at least it is fun when they expect me to sing and I just ignore like I'm unaware of their intentions or something.
But I just hope that this year is better It's on the 12th day of December.
Anyway, I'm hopping that Matilda won't ruin that day too for me like she always does(Sheish that girl just hates my guts)
One time she stole my clothes while I was changing and I ended in a TOTAL DISASTER (long story) but then I just did something else, something less harmful like cutting her favourite designer wears into a zillion pieces.😜😜😜
