After the Christmas party Kelvin and I continued to have sleepovers; IN DIFFERENT ROOMS this time😁
It was so much fun. You know that feeling when you're in love with your best friend and he feels the same way and u both know this fact and still decide to be 'JUST FRIENDS!'
Yeah, that's what was happening now. 1. He stares at me secretly,
2. then he turns away when I catch him.
3. I stare at him secretly,
4. then I turn away when he catches me.
Last Friday, during our sleepover, we watched a Bollywood movie. It was said in the movie that if a girl and a boy meet face-to-face at exactly 12 am, which is, the new year, they'll be with each other for the next 7 lives.
I know it sounds foolish but I wanted to try it with Kelvin and I had a feeling that he wanted that too😍
It's 11:30pm. Everyone is silently waiting for the new year. Kelvin's mom just came in and took Kelvin away. I could tell he was as disappointed as I was.
Later my mom also came in and offered to take me out to watch the year pass by. Feeling bored l agreed. When it was exactly 11:59pm, the impatient ones lighted up the sky with fire crackers.
I confess, I'm afraid of fire crackers. So I just panicked when it started. Trying to find a safer place. I bumped into someone. GUESS, GUESS, GUESS!!!☺️☺️
It was Kelvin! Just then the clock stroke 12:00, indicating the new year. He smiled and I smiled back. It happened 😏
"This is the work of destiny" Linda, who had watched the movie with us, said.
Just then all the attention was on us. Within seconds everybody in the crowd went "AAAAWWWNNN!!!!!"
We tried not to blush, but it was too much to bear. Suddenly Kelvin pulled me closer and hugged me. I hugged him back. We didn't care about the number of evil eyes casted on us. To us, at that moment, it was 'TO HELL WITH THE HATERS!!'
