Chapter Twenty-Nine

In the evening,

"Yuzuru! Can you help me cut some vegetables for the congee?" Akira asked as she busied herself in the kitchen.

"Sure!" Yuzuru walked over, taking the chopping board and knife with him before proceeding to cut the vegetables.

"Culutrius..." Akira muttered a small spell while twirling her fingers towards Yuzuru's direction.

Just at that moment, Yuzuru's hand slipped causing the knife to cut his finger. "Ah!" Yuzuru flinched and immediately pulled his finger away.

"Are you okay?" Akira asked, coming over to his side to take a look.

"Oh no! You are bleeding! How careless!" Akira pretended to sound concern while holding onto his hand.

"Quick, take the cloth at the side!" Akira said, pointing to the cloth right at the corner beside Yuzuru. Yuzuru turned around to take the cloth with his hand still hold by Akira.

Taking the chance, Akira used magic to transport 3 droplets of blood from his finger to a bottle. The 3 droplets of blood as though water suspended in air travelled across into the bottle in Akira's hand.

By the time Yuzuru turned back with the cloth, Akira took the cloth anxiously and stopped the bleeding.

Akira then brought his finger to her lips, giving it a kiss and the wound immediately healed. A shade of red appeared on Yuzuru's cheeks, as he blushed at that action. Seeing that his wound has healed, he muttered a small thanks before proceeding to cut the vegetables again. Akira, however, laughed at his innocence.

"What are you laughing about?" Yuzuru asked.

"You are too cute!" Akira gave a small smile before tip toeing, ruffling his hair.

Later in the night,

"Did you get it?" Leon asked.

Akira nodded before passing the bottle of blood to Leon.

"Let's make the cure then!" Leon gathered the items needed for the cure together, placing them on the table.

Akira grinded the items before throwing them into a cauldron. She then poured water into the cauldron and finally placing a lid over it.

The next day,

"Good morning!" Yuzuru gave a small yawn before greeting everyone while stretching him arms.

"Good morning!" Rin replied.

Yuzuru who was still in a daze immediately jolt up awake. "Rin? You are okay!" He went up to her, grabbing both of her arms while giving her a thorough look from head to toe.

"Yup!" Rin laughed as she patted Yuzuru's shoulder.

Akira then came into the living room, placing today's breakfast on the dining table.

"How did you manage to cure Rin?" Yuzuru curiously questioned.

"Well, I had a little help from someone...Anyways what matters is Rin is alright now!" Akira replied.

Leon who have been listening to the conversation the whole time, nodded his head, "Yup!"

Noticing Leon's presence, Rin quietly walked to his side before looking at the floor awkwardly. She nervously fiddled with her fingers before muttering a small apology, "Thank you for saving me. That time, I was in the wrong. I should not have blamed you for losing our way. I am sorry."

Everyone looked towards her, shocked. Rin is actually apologising?! What a joke! However, Akira gave a heartwarming smile, while giving a light pat on Rin's back.

Leon, on the other hand, gave a shocked expression however quickly composed himself. "Ehem, apology accepted! I too was in the wrong for arguing with you." Leon scratched the back of his head, apologising for his behaviour as well.

"Now everything is fine, great, lets eat!" Yuzuru clasp his hands together, walking towards the dining table. Everyone then followed suit and enjoyed their meal.
