Well, it's Monday.
I had an awesome time eating out with Jungkook. He was surprisingly nice to me the whole time. I couldn't eat much though since my stomach had butterflies dancing around non stop.
I have grown to like Jungkook more, but I wonder if I'm just confused. Maybe I'm just using him just to get over Changjo. I don't know.
Oppa seems to be okay with Jungkook now that they actually got to speak to each other. But, Oppa still doesn't open up to him, mostly because of what Jungkook did to me in the past.
The young boy was surprised when I gave him Namjoon's jacket, which I assumed he would be. I explained to him the story so thankfully he didn't think that Namjoon went over to my house. I wouldn't want Jungkook to be sad.
There I go again, worrying about him.
I was sitting at my desk, going over our next chapter, when I heard,"Morning, Noona."
My stomached churned; the heat from my cheeks rose as I looked up to see him smiling with our project in his arms.
"Morning, Jungkook." I smiled, standing up to help him with the project.
"How was your sleep?" Jungkook and I sat down; we both faced each other.
"Eh, it was okay," I laughed,"What about you?"
"Well, it was hard for me," Jungkook's expression changed.
His features turned serious,"I couldn't stop thinking about yo-"
"Hey, Princess," I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
Jungkook stayed silent, staring at me emotionlessly. A pang in my heart appeared when I saw him in that state.
"Good morning, Changjo." I tried to smile.
I looked up to see his beautiful lips curved upward. I noticed Changjo glance at the younger one before resting his elbows on my table. My eyes wondered over to Jungkook nervously, noticing him reading his book.
"How did you sleep, Princess?" Changjo smiled.
The awkwardness was killing me. It was like a gas filling up in the room, suffocating me.
I faltered with my words,"It was uh, um, okay. Thanks for asking."
A nod came from the older one as he sat down in his assigned seat, which was only two seats in front of me.
Quietness filled the room. My eyes fell on Jungkook again; his eyes fixated on the pages of the book.
I sighed, getting back to reading our upcoming chapter.
---
Jungkook didn't talk to me once in class. My chest tightened every time he would talk to someone else, or when I would smile at him, he would just slightly smile, then turn his attention to the teacher.
Did I do something wrong?
"Now, class," the teacher began,"Today we will present our projects. Let's start with Hana and Jungkook."
My heart stopped; my cheeks flushed with nervousness.
Just when I was about to ask to have someone else present theirs first, I felt a warm hand hold mine under the desk. I glanced to the left, seeing him stare at me, squeezing my hand.
"It's okay, don't be nervous," he spoke quietly, just enough for me to catch it. His touch was definitely comforting. I nodded, letting the oxygen fill my lungs.
