Darkness lingers in each gaping hole, every memory that holds you dear. Maybe this time you'll remember who you are.
Darkness
Poisoned apple to my bite,
The moth into my light.
The copper wire to my electricity
We created this city.
Aliens they called us, too weird for earth.
Vagabonds with a 2 cent worth.
But they didn't know us.
The darkness crawled under our surface.
Trying to find our purpose.
I'll be the shadow at your door
Because in the end
You deserve so much more!
