Ch 16 Meeting Sophia

Ch 16

We walked outside continuing talking. She was telling me about the home movie theather,inside pool,outside pool, tennis court,soccer field, game room, family room, 15 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and etc.. There is also a garden here. This place is huge. We were walking out in the backyard for about 15minutes. I swear if I was walking in the backyard by myself I would probably get lost. There is so much land. While we were conversing we saw a pretty little girl in the middle of the field. she was just laying looking up at the sky

" Sophia" Christina called out

She stood up and ran to Christina and hugged her

" Who are you" she asked me in an innocent childlike voice

She looked to be about five years old,she had brunette hair and had it in a pony tail,rosy cheeks with brown eyes and wore a pretty purple dress. She was so adorable.

" I'm Annabel, Samuel's girlfriend". Then she squealed and hugged me really tight

" Sammy is my favorite cousin" She turned to Christina who pouted "but I still love you Christina so don't be sad" which made me chuckle. This girl was so adorable.

" Sammy really loves you. He talks about you all the time so don't break his heart because I am learning karate and I will fight you." She said seriously.

She was really too cute for her own good

" Dont worry, I wont break his heart, I love him too. So why are you by yourself?" I asked curiously since there were so many kids running about to play with.

" I wanted to play in the game room with some of my cousins that were already in there but they kicked me out saying i am too young"

I gasped "You are not young, how old are you" I asked in pretend shock

" I am five"

" You are lying to me"

"No i am not"

"wow...You are so mature . Do you want to hang with us since you are very mature for your age. It is liking talking to an adult" I said

She grinned really big at that comment

" Really. Can I". She asked

"Yes"

She grabbed  my hand and Christina's and we started walking back to the house. We talked so much with Sophia. She is such a sociable,funny and a nice child.

" Since you are so mature, Do you want us to do your makeup so you can look older too" I say

" Yes! I can finally be an adult. All the adults I know wear makeup" Sophia squealed clapping her hands.

" Christina, what do you think" I ask

" That is a great idea Annabel. This is going to be so much fun. I bought new makeup that I wanted to test anyway." Christina added really happy.

We finally reached the deck.It had built-in seating and a firepit. People were conversing and laughing. We were making our way up the steps of the circular wooded deck when a short woman stopped us.

" Hey cutiepie,what are you up to" she said to Sophia

" mom,don't embarrass me. I just made a new friend, she thinks i am mature so i dont need my mom telling me i am a cutiepie." She whispered loudly in her ear.

I tried to hold my laughter. I love when kids try to whisper and dont notice that everyone else can hear them.

" Hi I am Annabel.Sammy's girlfriend"

I went to shake Sophia's mom's hand but she hugged me and whispered in my ear

"Thank you for making her feel older. Sometimes she feels leftout because she is young but that is why she loves Sammy. He always treats her like an older girl instead of a like a child. No wonder he loves you."

We pulled apart

" Thank you" I smiled

" You ready Sophia for your makeover" I ask excitedly

" Yeah." she grabbed my hand . "Bye mom". We ran inside.

Sorry guys this wasnt that great but I wanted to update because I know I havent done it in a while but thanks everyone for the support. It really makes me feel good. :-)
