It had been two weeks since Violet had come up with their devious plan. Carson was currently on his way to school at 6:30 in the morning because he needed to put the flyers that they had printed out into everyone's locker. They had all agreed that it was best if he did it because he cared less about himself getting caught. The school came into his view and he scanned the area. No one was there except the janitors. He walked up the steps and into the school silently. Grabbing the flyers out of his book bag he began putting them in each locker one by one. A few janitors saw him but paid no attention due to the fact that the school opened at 6 am in case students needed to come early to complete work and such. After he put all of the flyers in, he walked outside and sat on the steps. "Finally..." he muttered as he thought about how they would no longer be tortured. It was now 7:15 am. Students began to arrive and flood through the door, not caring if they stepped on him or his belongings or not. "God damn!" He shouted, only earning him a slap on the face from some blonde headed girl. Violet and Tyson approached the school. Carson got up and walked over, holding a thumbs up to them.
"Good job." Tyson grinned at the other two, Violet nodded. Tyson walked around Violet and Carson, going in the school by himself. Carson shrugged and lifted a hand to the back of his neck.
"I really don't feel like going in there." Violet sighed and looked at her feet. Carson grabbed her hand and led her away from the school.
"You don't have to then, we will go somewhere to pass the time. Tell Tyson." Carson stated. Violet pulled out her phone sending a message to Tyson letting him know where she would be.
"Where are we going?" Violet chirped, clearly happy that she wouldn't have to go to school. Carson just shrugged, continuing to pull her on. They had passed the road that went to their hangout area, so Violet crosses that option out. "Come on please Carson, tell me!" She began to poke him over and over. Carson shook his head no and let go of her hand. She crossed her arms and pouted.
"You're so impatient." Carson chuckled and walked down a path into the woods. Violet sighed, following him into the woods.
"How do I know that you're not going to kill me? Huh, Carson." Violet giggled and ran to catch up with him. Carson looked at him, raising his eyebrows. He grabbed her hand again, causing her heart to skip a beat.
"I'm pretty sure that if I wanted to kill you then I would have already done it, Vi." Carson abruptly stopped and sat down, looking out. He had brought her to a cliff. Fog clouded the area beyond the deep drop and Violet looked surprised.
"I have never seen this area before." She sat down beside Carson and stretched out. "I haven't been able to sleep well lately Carson." Violet yawned noisily. Carson patted his lap and she laid down in it without even thinking.
"What's the problem?" Carson gave her a questioning look. Violet shrank down and covered her face.
"Nothing Carson, just nightmares I suppose." She uncovered her face and looked at him. He looked suspicious.
"Has something happened Violet? Why have you been having nightmares?" Carson tried to act like he didn't already know what the problem was. Tyson had told him that she had been having flashbacks from when she was small, and her dad would beat her, sometimes even taking advantage of her. It made him sick, and a part of him wished that her father could be apart of their party. Carson tried to hold back his grin at the thought of that.
"I-I just have been thinking of some things that make me upset before I go to sleep." She said quietly, refusing to look at him. At Least she would tell him part of the truth. Carson ran his hand through her hair and smiled down at her.
