"So you really think you'll be okay", Mandy said as she parked the car and looked back at me. Her face stained with fear and disapproval, but I knew I had to do it.

"Mandy it's fine, trust me. I'm not a toddler anymore. I'll only be here for a week; I need to do something with my summer. I can't just sit inside on my nonexistent phone.", I said grabbing my duffle bags and shoving my bag through the tiny car doors.

"I love you, make sure you write. And stay away from the lake", Mandy said hugging me through the car window. I pulled away from the hug and before I could speak she rolled up the window and pulled out of the parking lot.

I grabbed my bags and trudged my way over the green hills like mountains. A small log cabin with smoke coming out the chimney and an old creaky door.

I pushed the door open and I was engulfed in cool air. The smell of what seemed like ocean breeze danced on the tip of my nose.

"Hi I'm Cassie, how may I help you", The attendant said from behind the desk. She had a pencil behind her ear and a messy ponytail.

"Jessy", I said as I looked around the small room. Yellow folders sat on every item in the room.

"Right", she said as she hummed and shook her head side to side. "Right your in cabin Ruby", she said as she printed something.

"On the hill near the orientation hall", she said as she handed me the paper. "Now go", She request shooing me away and out the door.

I looked at the paper and found my schedule printed on it. First I had ordination, than arts and craft, and then swimming. I folded the paper and put it in my pocket.

I open the door to the cabin to find one girl on the floor, two fighting over a hairdryer, and three shouting and yelling about something.

Before any of them could notice me I slammed the door. I walked to the orientation hall and dropped my bagged off my arms.

"Orientation doesn't start for another two hours. I suggest you go do something to pass the time", a young lady said checking her phone. "I'm the guidance counselor, in two hours. Until then I'm just a lady on her phone", she said as she looked back down.

"Well what am I going to do", I asked. "Go play in the lake", she said getting up and going into a room in the back.

At that moment my hands moved by themselves. I lifted my shirt and pulled my shorts down to reveal a bathing suit. I went to reach for the doorknob when I realized what I did.

Before I could move, the door opened. My only source of support gone, and slowly I fell face first into mud. I slowly got up and wiped my face to find a boy looking down at me.

"I thought this was an all girls camp", I said looking up. "It is I'm just helping out on the first day", The boy said putting his hand out. "My sister is the guidance counselor", he said as I pulled myself to my feet.

"Here let's go the lake, you can wash off there", he said pulling me out the door.

Slowly I put my feet into the water, as the cool water came up to me ankle.

"Come on, you afraid of water", he teased splashing me with water.

"No I'm just..."

Darkness, deep blue darkness. Light came in through the top but couldn't reach me. My throat tightening and little bubble coming from my mouth. I moved my arms around to go up, but nothing happened.

Slowly I was engulfed in light blue, than white, than... Light.

"You okay", a voice said as I slowly opened my eyes.

I could barely hear him, so I hit my head to get the water out of my ears.

"I love you", I thought I heard come out his mouth.

I looked at him strangely... "Did you say you loved me", I asked as he fell down in a fit of laughter.

"You really must have had too much water", he said clenching his stomach. "I was telling a story about my hamster who broke his water tube", he said as he sat up.

"I don't even know your name, how could I be in love with you", he asked as he raised his eyebrow.

"Too much water", I said as I coughed a little. "Once again I had too much water", I said as I slowly started laughing. With the sun blinding me I looked at the lake and saw a little toddler.

"Be careful, or you might get too much water", a sweet voice hummed.

"Too much water indeed."
