🖤 "Only your scent completes me" 🖤

"What's your name?"

The four year old boy looked up, a smile on his face. "Jung Hoseok." replied Hoseok. The king smiled. "That's a nice name, Hoseok," he said as he approached the boy. "Where's your parents?" Hoseok shrugged. "I don't have an appa and eomma." said the four year old, winding his finger around the grass. "Well, how about you come to my house?" The boy nodded and followed the man. Hoseok was an orphan, abandoned by his mom at age four. Clueless of the harsh world.

"Live here?" asked Hoseok, eyes wide. The king nodded. "Yes, you'll live here with Haneul." said the king. Haneul, a knight, was kind to Hoseok and trained the boy to be a knight himself as well. "Who's this?" asked a five year old Hoseok. The queen chuckled. "This is Jungkook. He'll one day be a king and you'll serve him." replied the king. Indeed, Hoseok did serve Jungkook. The prince was a brother to him. It was always like that.

Or so he thought.

"Hoseok, this is Yoongi. He'll be helping me out with the kingdom." said Jungkook. Hoseok's eyes widen at the sight in front of him. Skin that seems so soft and white, lips tempting with red, and small but beautiful eyes that Hoseok can't look away from. "N-Nice to meet you, Your Highness," said the knight, bowing down to hide his red cheeks. "If you need anything, you may tell me." Ever since the flower appeared, Hoseok couldn't control his feelings. His heart that beat furiously whenever Yoongi was around. He knew it was wrong. Yoongi was Jungkook's. Yoongi loves Jungkook. Only Jungkook.

Hoseok ignored his feelings, hoping they'll fade away. But, then....

"This is Hoseok." said Jungkook. Hoseok bowed. "Nice to see you, Your Highness." Another one? Thought the knight. He glanced at Yoongi, who wore a blank face. Jungkook had married Namjoon. Hoseok doesn't have a problem, for he doesn't understand what Jungkook is trying to do. "Yoongi, your food is ready," said Hoseok, opening the door to Yoongi's room. He called out again when he noticed the room was empty. "Yoongi?" The knight looked around the room until he heard a small sob.

"Yoongi?" asked Hoseok, removing the blankets on the bed. His eyes widen when he realized the prince was crying, tears streaking down his pink cheeks. Yoongi turned around and immediately jumped at Hoseok, seeking for any comfort and warmth. That was the first time Hoseok saw such an expression on the older. It made him boiled with anger.

As Jungkook brought Taehyung and Seokjin, Hoseok just couldn't hold back the anger and his feelings any longer. He was glad that he had a chance, yet at the same time, he was mad at how Yoongi's heart was treated.

"Hoseok?" asked Yoongi, snapping the knight out of his thoughts. Hoseok blushed, embarrassed. "Y-Yes?" asked the knight. Yoongi smiled. "You okay? You look a little tired." said the prince. Hoseok chuckled. "I'm fine. Just stayed up a while." replied the knight. Yoongi groaned, furiously undoing the ribbon again. Hoseok chuckled at the prince many attempts. "Here," said Hoseok as he walked towards Yoongi. "Let me do it." After that they succeeded, they walked out to the garden, where the wedding was still being held.

Hoseok stood, watched for any suspicion, but he couldn't stop thinking about Yoongi. Would he be okay? How was he feeling? He glanced to the side, noticing that Seokjin was with Yoongi. Everything will be fine, Hoseok told himself. As the wedding continued on, Hoseok was starting to calm down. He was glad that Seokjin must've noticed too, and was keeping Yoongi distracted. "Hey Iseul," Hoseok called out to another knight. "Guard the west for me for a minute." He made his way to the other side of the palace.
