A Little Of Now and Then

(Past) 

Jimin quietly rushes through the forest, the moonlight shone on his face as he made his way deeper. "Hey!" he softly said out. "Shinwook!" The said male pops out at the sound of his name. Jimin's heart beats in excitement as Shinwook appears in the light. His eyes sparkles as his soft smile settles on his plump, rosy lips, cheeks blossom red. "Jimin!" he said happily as he ran towards the prince. Jimin chuckles, wrapping his arms around the taller's slim waist as he inhaled the other's sweet, elegant scent. 

"Did you wait long?" asked Jimin, parting away as he took the other's hand into his smaller yet muscular one. Shinwook shook his head. "Come on, hyung, I wanna show you something!" the younger said happily. Jimin stumbles as Shinwook suddenly pulls him, making their way even  deeper into the woods until they arrived at a small cliff. "S-Shinwook...Are you sure this is safe?" asked Jimin as the taller dragged him, hands covering the prince's eyes. Shinwook stops gradually, sitting the older down carefully. "Okay, you can open your eyes." 

Jimin's eyes flutters open, full with utter shock and surprise as he took the view in front of him. The moon shone so bright, owning the night as the stars accompanied it in the back. His mouth is slightly parted as he stared at the sky. "It's beautiful, right?" asked Shinwook, smiling. Jimin blushes at the younger. "Yes....It's very beautiful." he whispered softly, watching Shinwook with awe.

(Present)

Jimin pulls himself up, shaking his head at the sudden ache. He removes the covers to the side, walking to his dresser as he's greeted with maids. Jimin nods and greets them back as well. "Is Jungkook awake, yet?" asked Jimin, lifting his head up as the maid did his collar. "Yes, he's in the dining room already, Your Highness." Jimin leaves the room as soon as they finish. As he makes his way to the dining hall, he abruptly stops himself. "J-Jungkook!' he heard Seokjin scold. Jungkook chuckles in reply. "What? Is it wrong for me to show some of my love?" 

"Jungkook." Jimin clenches his fists. He waited a while before entering. The prince cleared his throat purposely, stating his appearance. Jungkook and Seokjin immediately untangled their arms. Jimin hold back the urge to roll his eyes, forcing a smile on instead. "Good morning." he said 'cheerfully'. Seokjin smiles back. "Good morning," said Seokjin back. "Did you slept well?" Jimin nod his head. "Yes, very well indeed." Jungkook smiles. "That's good to hear," said the king. Under the table, he interlaced his hand with Seokjin's. "I'm sorry for not being able to attend you during your ill. There was a lot of work." 

Jimin smiles, digging his nail into his skin. "It's fine, it must've been hard with those clingy bastards around the town area." They continue on with the conversation, the others soon joining as well. "I must return to my work, now," said Jungkook as he stood. "I will join you later for lunch." They all nod before going back to their small conversations. "J-Jimin." he heard Namjoon whispered. The prince turned his head towards the other. "Yes?" he replied lowly, not sure if the older wanted their words to be heard out loud.

"I need to talk to you," said Namjoon with a sad smile. "In private, please." Jimin nods in a understanding manner. "Me and Namjoon have something to work on." stated Jimin. Yoongi nods. "Yes, do leave then." he said quickly before continuing to sip his tea. They walked out to the garden. "What is it?" he asked. Namjoon looks around cautiously before leaning closer to Jimin. "Jimin, I think we have a spy in the palace." said the older. Bingo. 

The prince's eyes widens. "What makes you say that?" he asked. Namjoon flinched at the sudden question. "W-Well," he stammered. "I found a note in my room the other day." Jimin stood silent for a moment, thinking to himself. "I'll see what I can do. For now, take care of yourself." Namjoon nods. "Thank you, Jimin!" said the older with a smile. Jimin smiles back, despite the guilt tearing at his insides. "You're welcome anytime, hyung."
