Living as a world-star is just horrible.

Faking a smile and looking behind me became a habit of mine.

I always felt like a toy. A toy my uncle loved playing with. Yes, my uncle.

I was now standing in front of his office door, with all the courage I had, I knocked on his door and waited for him to respond.

"Come in."

Taking a deep breath, I opened the door and entered inside, closing it behind me. He looked busy with editing my music video. My comeback was near and I ... wasn't ready neither prepared.
We filmed the video 3 days ago.

1 week.

I had to heal in 1 week.

"It's 12 am, Jungkook. Where were you?" He eyed me and I swallowed hard.

"W-With Jimin!" I told him and he narrowed his eyes, looking at me.

"I told you to not hang out with that Jimin guy. He is bad for you and your career." His voice was serious, just like his gaze.

"You did tell me, but never told me why." I walked to the chair in front of him and sat there, throwing my head back while I closed my eyes.

"It's better for you not to know why he's bad." I heard him saying and grinned.

"Yeah, everything is about my career." I mumbled.

"Go to your studio and sing your song, record it. We need your voice with the beat. Since we filmed your music video 3 days ago-"

"I am sick, I am not able to sing, uncle," I said, looking at him.

"It's not for the first time. You are used to it." He said and I scoffed.

"I am, but now it's serious. My throat burns."

"So? What's wrong, Jungkook? If you don't have your comeback in 6 days and don't attend the concert, we'll lose money and you'll lose your fans."

"Why would I lose my fans just because I was sick and wasn't able to perform?"

"He's also a human." Your words ring in his ears.
