Taehyung was waiting in the living room for Jungkook and Hoseok with Yeontan.
It seems they both needed to have a talk. A long one. Taene was in own room, she didn't want to say anything about that.
Jungkook put you slowly on the bed and your brother covered you with the blanket afterward. Both looked at you with worry in silence.
You had a painting expression, your eyebrows were furrowed. Those nightmares again. You started sweating, gripping on the blanket tightly as you let out a whimper.
"Yoongi ..." You whispered, your head started shaking. Hoseok quickly took the earphones from your table and put them in your ear, playing your hero's voice to calm you down.
Your pained expression was replaced with a small smile. Jungkook could only watch with confusion and curiosity.
"Your voice is her cure in such moments. That's why she's calling you her hero." Hoseok told him, letting out a shaky sigh as their eyes locked. "But I didn't know that she was calling you Justin, Jungkook."
"Why? Was it fun? You fooling her and lying to her? What could be the reason?" Your brother asked bitterly and Jungkook swallowed hard.
"Let us talk somewhere else. And I'll let you know why." Jungkook wanted to ask some things also.

Now they were in your brother's room. Both sat down, Hoseok was waiting for a good enough explanation. And if it wasn't good enough, he wouldn't think twice before punching Jungkook.
"She met me 1 week ago as Justin. I didn't know your sister back then and it was my first time talking to her at all. An accident happened with my dog and her white cane. I was afraid of her finding out about me being Jungkook. As you said, for me, it was love at sight. And I just was so scared. I didn't want her to know me as Jungkook, because she wouldn't feel comfortable talking freely with me. She asked me about my dog's name and they became friends...so easily. She wanted to meet my dog again and I told her that I came every Wednesday there." Jungkook started and continued with how your brother found him sick. He told Hoseok everything. Where was the use of hiding?
"So she asked not me, but Justin to come to that restaurant." With that, he stopped talking.
Hoseok had his head between his hands, listening. "I have nothing against you, really. I myself know what love at first sight is and how it feels like. I completely understand. But she wouldn't understand it. I..." His voice started breaking, his tears appearing. "I want her to be happy. I no longer want her to have those nightmares. I want her to change to the old Y/N. The one, who was actually really happy. And even if it's you who'll make her happy, I will be in relieve. Though when it comes to love, there's only pain. The weaker will have this pain and the stronger will keep going for another relationship. The one will forget, the other won't. And if the weak one's love is more powerful than the stronger ones, it's the end for the weaker one. It's life. You see, love is no longer something for her. To her. Loving was a pain. In her case, she was the weak one. You know Jungkook...she isn't strong. She went through a lot of things years ago. She lost pretty much her loved ones. My Y/N is still living in the past, she is stuck there. And if you're the one, who'll make her move on and look for the future, again...I'll be relieved." Wiping his tears away, Jungkook's heart was breaking at the sight of your brother's crying form.
"I will love her. I love her and-"
"But how will she love you ... when she hates herself?" Hoseok ruffled his hair, Jungkook narrowed his eyes.
"She... hates herself? Why?" Jungkook asked and Hoseok thought about it. If he should tell Jungkook about your past. If he should let him now. But if he wanted to see your sincere smile and to stop your nightmares, he had to let him know.
"4 years ago, Y/N lost her boyfriend in a car accident. She...my sister was pregnant. She had a miscarriage. She lost her sight. Our parents disowned her. The driver, who hit their car ...in short, the case was dropped. The murderer is out there somewhere and there was no justice. Actually Jungkook, about her sight, she can see someday again. But she is blaming herself for her boyfriends and unborn baby's death...so she doesn't want to see. She's punishing herself this way. Yoongi's mom called her bad names and humiliated her in front of so many people. It hurt her. It still hurts her."
Jungkook didn't know how to react. You seemed like a happy person. You really did. But was it a mask? Just like his? You were good at pretending just like him.
The day you watched this one movie together and the miscarriage scene...was it because you had a miscarriage? Now Jungkook understood. You told him about the accident but didn't tell him the most important things about yourself. Just like he didn't.
Why? Why would you both tell each other the truth and your bad past? It was then when you met his as Jungkook. Not Justin. And Jungkook started to understand more and more...you really were more comfortable around Justin.
Two things. He couldn't understand two things. Why were you punishing yourself? Why? The murderer. Why did they drop the case? Where was the justice?
"Jungkook if you...if you make her want to see again. To be able to see again, I will be thankful to you till my last breath. I will do anything for you. Just give her the reason. And I don't care if you give that reason as Justin or Jungkook, just please try. If only your voice is the cure for those nightmares of hers, then imagine what your presence, you, would do? She'll heal fully. So please." Hoseok held Jungkook's hands, literally begging him.
"But what about the Taehyung guy?" Jungkook asked, looking a little jealous.
Hoseok let out a laugh and smiled so brightly him. "Taehyung is a part of her past. That's why I rather want you to be her future."

"Bye, Hoseok. And thank you." Jungkook smiled at him and waved goodbye at Taehyung, leaving. Hoseok closed the door behind him and headed to Taehyung.
"What?" Hoseok asked after he saw Taehyung staring at him.
"Nothing. It's just that I've been here for 30 minutes all alone." Taehyung said in a calm tone, but he was frustrated.
"Why all alone? You had Yeontan. You literally are playing with him right now. So your point is?" Rolling his eyes, Hoseok yawned and felt tired.
"This Jungkook guy is fishy. Don't you think so?" Taehyung asked him and Hoseok shook his head.
"Everything is normal about him. Apart from the pink broom he had on his head." There came Taene, making some tea for herself.
"Pink broom?" Both asked in unison and Taene nodded, leaving just like that to her room.
"Taehyung, I am tired. I'll head to bed. If you want, you can stay here for this night and sleep in the guest room." Hoseok really didn't care of he stayed or not, but Taehyung decided to stay so that he could see you tomorrow early. So that he could eat breakfast with you.
To Taehyung, Jungkook was fishy. Jungkook was Jimin's friend after all. Wasn't he?
