Hades just left for a trial. 

Hours ago.

In the throne room. 

The very throne room that I can't go in. 

I'm not allowed into there because of the soul on trial. 

The trial is supposed to be hard on them. 

Enough that they're sent to be tortured. 

Hades made up his mind before it even started. 

He didn't tell me why he made it so soon. 

Except that he wanted it over as quickly as possible. 

I can't have that. 

I can't have him gone for too long. 

No one is going to keep him away from me. 

Not even an important trial. 

And a rule. 

The rule being that for this soul, I'm not allowed to be in there for. 

I must know them. 

There is no way to know unless I step in. 

So I do just that. 

A frown on my face. 

Fear in my eye. 

I think that will work well.

I burst through the double doors and the crowd gasps. 

"Hades!" I shout. 

He narrows his eyes and gives me a hard look. 

I don't like to be the center of attention. 

I just don't.

In fact I hate it. 

Despise it. 

"What is it, love?" His sweet voice says and I almost drop the fear from my face but I keep it about me.
