Messed Up

Beginning of an Era

The day has finally come. You are going to be faced with new people in a new town. Your father passed away in a car accident last summer which made your mother want to move back to her hometown, Kansas. You were kind of glad to leave Utah because there was so much drama. You also have a brother, his name is Elton.
The sound of your alarm makes you wake up. There's so many thoughts goin through your brain that you don't know what to do. You end up getting dressed in a casual but cute outfit.
You pack up your bag and get in your car. You drive a 2011 Honda Civic. It's not a good nor bad car. But hey, at least you don't have to ride the smelly bus. You arrive at the school and head to the front office. You retrieve your schedule and you head to your locker. On your way there you bump into somebody. Great. Just what I wanted to happen.
?: "omg! I'm so sorry."
You look up to see a petite girl. She was very pretty and seemed a little shy.
Y/n: "it's ok. Accidents happen."
?: "I'm Devyn. What's your name?"
Y/n: "my names y/n. Do you know where Mr. LaCombe's class is?"
D: "yes! That's what I have 1st period too. Let me see your schedule."
You hand Devyn your schedule and she looks it over.
D: "wow, we have all of our classes together."
Y/n: "great!"
You and Devyn head to your first period class. You two talk all the way until you reach the classroom.
