Not lonely

You go on about your day until lunch. You're putting your books away when you see a sticky note in your locker; text me *phone number*
You grab the note and put it in your pocket. You sit with your new group of friends and eat.
D: "I'm surprised jackass isn't bothering us"
Y/n: "yea, they're such scum bags"
J: "Hey y/n, can I talk to you for a second? Alone?"
You get up and follow him into the hallway, you look back and see Devyn and Kat smiling.
J: "If you don't feel the same it's ok, but I really like you y/n"
Y/n: "really?"
J: "Yeah. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Y/n: "Of course Jake!"
You give him a hug and walk back to the lunch table with a big smile on your face. Jake sits right next to you.
S: "Jeez y/n, what are you so happy about?"
You look at Jake and he smiles.
J: "Me and y/n are dating"
Corey: "Congratulations you two"
Y/n: "thanks"
You look behind you and see Colby glaring at Jake, but you just ignore it.
You finish the day at school and go home. You decided to work on homework because you had a lot of it. Then you got a text;
?: Hey. How are you?
Y/n: good. Who is this?
C: it's Colby
Y/n: oh...
C: so, I heard you and Jake are together
Y/n: yea
C: What do you like about him he's a fucking loser.
Y/n: he's nowhere near being a loser.
C: say whatever you want sweetheart😉
You deleted the messages and ignored him all night.
You've been working on homework for 2 hours now and Jake FaceTimes you.
J: hey babe. Whatcha doing?
Y/n: just homework. What are you doing?
J: just watching Netflix
You talked to Jake until it got late. You showered and went to bed.
