"Evan! Wake up honey its time to go to school," Evans mother said as she entered his room, carrying her bag on her shoulder.

Evan sat up, as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, "T-thanks mom."

She gave him a soft smile, "Evan, I'll be working late today. I'll leave a 20 on the counter so you can order whatever you want okay?"

Evan sighed, and looked down, "B-but its Taco Tuesday..."

Her eyes widened as her shoulders slumped, "Crap- I mean- Evan baby, sorry I completely forgot. We could do it tomorrow?"

Evan got off his bed, feeling hurt, ''I-it won't be T-Tuesday again tomorrow. It's fine m-mom. I don't mind."

She ran her hand through her hair, "Evan I-"

"M-mom, don't worry. Can you p-please get out? I-I wanna get ready for school."

Evans mom gave him a sad look, ''I-I'm so sorry baby. I love you okay? Don't forget that."

Evan gave her a small smile, "Me too, b-bye."

Dear Evan Hansen,

Today isn't going to be a good day. And here's why...

"Connor! Get the hell up! If you're not ready I'm leaving without you!" Connors sister said, banging on the door.

"Shut the fuck up!" he screamed, as he shoved a pillow up against his face.

"I'm leaving Connor in 5 minutes! Hurry the hell up!"

"Shut up Zoe! I don't give a fuck. I'm not going to school today!"

She was quiet, and he suddenly heard soft footsteps coming up the stairs. His mom. He vaguely heard her say she would handle it. Handle the problem. Yeah because he was always the fucking problem. Everyday.

"Connor? Honey... please get up." She spoke softly from the other side.

"I'm not going to school mom. Fuck that. I'll go tomorrow, " He spat out.

"It's your senior year Connor! You can't miss the second day! You skipped the whole day yesterday!" She replied.

He got up, and opened the door, "I already said I'd go tomorrow."

He looked at her, her hair had begun to turn gray. She had wrinkles under her eyes. She seemed so tired. Because of him. Always because of him. Every problem was always his fucking fault. He should just go and kill himself today. Today... he could do it today...

"Connor! Hurry up! You'll be late," his mother begged.

Suddenly Larry appeared with a disapproving look in his face, "He doesn't listen. Look at him, he's probably high."

Suddenly Zoe appeared, "He's definitely high."

He glared at them, "Fuck all of you. Go to hell." He slammed the door in his face.

Larry began pounding on the door, screaming at him. With an angry sigh, Connor began to get dressed

Amazing fucking way to start the day.
