Lukas
I was watching the fire start to die out when I felt something land on my shoulder. I was startled at first, but smiled realizing it was Sabrina. I had let my gaze rest on her for a bit. Her face was illuminated by small flames of the fire. She had beautiful black wavy hair that went to her waist. She was indeed very beautiful, but she wasn't something I could call mine. She loved someone else.
I sighed as the fire finally died out, no longer letting me gaze at her features. I wrapped on of my arms around her back and the other I hooked under her legs, picking her up. I made my way back towards her house, trying my best to not trip on anything. Navigating in the dark is a bitch.
Just as I made it to her back porch, the light turned on and her mother opened the door. Sometimes her timing is weirdly perfect. It's like she has some crystal ball that sees the future or something. The woman knows all, sees all. That includes my feelings about Sabrina.
She smiled at me and motioned for me to hurry up. "Come on Lukas, you know your way around the house, just don't try anything with my daughter," she wore a sly, knowing look on her face and winked.
"Mrs. Anderson, you know I can't even if I wanted to. I'm just gonna take her to her room and then i'll be on my way," I sighed as I walked passed her.
"Alright then," she stated almost sadly as she went into the kitchen.
I made my way up the stairs and towards her room located at the far end on the left. I saw that 2 of her brothers' rooms were filled with boxes and the other was cleaned out and redecorated. I'm guessing it was turned into a guest room. I walked into Sabrina's room and went over to her bed, trying my best to set her down without waking her. After I had laid her down on the bed I went back downstairs. Her mother was still roaming about in the kitchen doing who knows what. "Are you sure you don't want to just stay the night? Levi's room was turned into the guestroom, you can sleep in there if you want?"
I looked outside and sighed, "I guess, are some of his clothes still in there?"
"Of course, feel free to borrow them sweetheart," she smiled at me brightly.
I made my way back upstairs, heading towards Levi's old room. I actually became friends with Levi before I met his sister. He was a crazy guy, only a few months older than me, but a grade ahead. He graduated last year, and then went off traveling around the world, studying various forms of art. He's a talented artist and a well respected guy around the school, he was known for getting into fights a lot, not that his parents knew of course. I had no idea how he managed to keep it from his parents, but he apparently had the school wrapped around his finger. Sabrina was kind of the same. Half the time you would think they were twins, or even the same person just the opposite gender. He was one of my best friends, so he instantly picked up on the crush I had on Sabrina. He was pissed at first, but then got over it seeing that I never made any moves on her.
I started rummaging through the drawers till I found some sweatpants. I changed into those, kept my hoodie on, and took my dirty clothes downstairs. After placing them in the washer I went back upstairs and flopped down on the bed, taking out my phone. I looked through my messages before messaging Mieke.
You: Staying the night at Sabs
Meeks: Oh? Have fun then ;)
You: Stfu, im not doin anything
Meeks: nrn ur not

I shut off my phone and placed it on the table next to the bed before resting my arms behind my head. After a while of thinking, I finally fell asleep.
